Only thing I hate about golf betting is I can never stop backing a player once I go in a few times!

Think i've backed Villegas and Fowler in every major they've ever played even though Villegas seems to have dropped off the face of the earth

Shin is firmly in that catagory now but extremely confident she will be out of it before those two Smiley

That's why I stopped betting it a few weeks back, felt I was getting pot committed and thought I would have a break before holidays.

Sure worked out well Cheesy

Afternoon Mr T.

Tonight's super league has Salford hosting Wakefield. Neither team are very strong but Salford show signs of improving, especially at home. They have beaten Widnes, Huddersfield, Castleford and Hull KR and earlier in the season they drew with Wakefield away. The Wakefield game is particularly relevant as it was when Salford were really struggling. Getting odds against for Salford makes them the choice in what should b a close affair.

Suggest £20 Salford @ 13/8 with Ladbrokes.

CONFIRMATION ONLY

(It really hurts to do these after the event when we have lost.....)

£20 @ 13/8, Ladbrokes, Salford to beat Wakefield.

Amazing. When I saw him walk out to bat yesterday, my first reaction was why have we not backed him for some Champions Trophy related stuff?

Proper Fred hero, Hashim.

I think we have two free bets now.

I think the first should go on Reckless Abandon in the Kings Stand.

He was unlucky in the last race, as his side looked like it went too quickly, and he got caught by the horses on the other side not far from the line.  I don't think much to the current bunch of sprinters.  He is only 3 so should be getting better, and there seems a lot of confidence in the market (he is in from 10s a few days ago).  He is best price with Hills, and it beats Betfair.

Suggest £25 free bet with William Hill, Reckless Abandon, Kings Stand 18th June.

I haven't got a home for the 2nd on yet, but am keeping an eye on the Ascot markets.

Thanks Doobs.

This is one of the two £25 Free Bets we have with Wm Hill.

£25 @ 7/1, Reckless Abandon, Kings Stand Stakes, Royal Ascot.

ON

16 Jun 2013 - 18th Jun 2013 - Kings Stand Stakes - Outright

Tip It

Reckless Abandon @ 7/1

Stake : £25.00

Estimated Returns : £

175.00

Aidan O'Brien says Sir John Hawkins could join Stubbs in the Coventry at Royal Ascot. Both are towards the top of the pecking order at home it seems and are joint-favs for next year's 2,000 Guineas.

Stubbs is 7/2 for the Coventry, Sir John Hawkins is 12/1! (Bet365)

Rec £25 Sir John Hawkins @ 12/1

Also, Camelot is 11/4 for the Prince Of Wales's at Ascot but being ignored for the Eclipse on Betty. I've no idea why, Aidan loves Camelot and loves the Eclipse.

Rec £25 @ 17 Camelot for the Eclipse

Bet365 are the only firm with a market up for the Coventry, & still go 12/1, but they only offered me £0.83, so I've swerved it.

Counts as a rebuff, puts you top of the table.

Camelot is best priced 6/1 for the Eclipse.

And so, Chompy gets the Double Rebuff up.

Think we are up to date now. The SPT weekend absolutely blew me away, it was like 3 days of my life disappeared.

Sounds ominous.......you have confidence in Chompy's selection then?

We may as well circulate the money between ourselves.

Yes please, BOOKED.

£10 @ 12/1, Sir John Hawkins, Coventry Stakes, Royal Ascot, with Honest Doobs Bookmakers.

Let me know how you wish me to settle up please.

I imagine it would have been to anyone there longer than a couple of hours.  Cry

It was there with Betty until the last day or so. Last price matched on there was 23.

Obviously there's a chance he won't run. A lot depends on what happens at Royal Ascot and Adrian has plenty of others he can run but that's part of the gamble.

Ask for £10 at 22 on Betty. Should get taken.

Daily Report

Loss on Month £426.73

Current run 0 for 25

Outstanding bets £1,112.25

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=25

One completed bet yesterday, and one loser. Salford City Reds insipid performance was unhelpful, and presumably had voluble owner Doctor Koukash of Chester Races fame in apoplexy.

So, 0 for 25 and counting.....

In other action yesterday our Irfan and Hafeez ICC Champions Trophy bets are looking terminal thanks to the woeful underperformance of the Pakistani batting line up in the two games so far

Hafeez, Farhat, Malik, Shafiq, Kakmal = 25 runs. Between them. Over two games. If you exclude Misbah &Jamshed, Pakistan's other players have scored 73 runs at an average of 4.3.

Which is a complete waste of a superb bowling attack in the gargantuan Irfan, the speedy Junaid, the wily Riaz and the tricky Ajmal

Today India play the West Indies which should be a corker

Middlesex play Yorkshire at Lords, 2nd v 3rd

Northants play Leicester at Grace Road, top v bottom

and we search for a winner.
