Talking of Chompy, we're down to the last 8 of The Voice now and we've had no recommends on it!

Ha, wouldn't want to pick out of that lot to be honest, especially after last year when the massive outsider scooped the final.

I thought that that big lump Ash would be favourite, but I forgot about the bird who almost shattered all the glass on Saturday night, and looking on Oddschecker now she is big odds on.

Is there ever a case in these reality show deelies for just backing the outsiders with a view to greening out? (Hopefully this can't be read in the States...)

1. Reality TV producers love underdog tales
2. There's always a shock exit from the final ten/eight
3. Markets surely overreact immediately after a good performance when the papers are full of glowing reviews (surely no one is actually odds-on now, are they???)
4. We assume a Tom Jones selection won't win because the TV bods/baying masses want balance.

So does anyone actually know anyone suitable by these criteria?

Chompy would know better than myself, but I would hazard that it might be possible.

I managed a 2nd in the X-Factor US first season, but it was obvious who was going to win from the outset given how it played out.

Cowell sends her home, then gives it the 'We've made a mistake, I have to bring one back' and in she comes...

 Roll Eyes

No price from the off though, so I guess the public knew what was going on and I was just clinging to a dream Cheesy

Great sweat I had being on him from the outset @ 25/1, but still gutted to see no 'Voice UK' outcome for me on final night!

Afternoon Mr T.

Tonight's super league has Salford hosting Wakefield. Neither team are very strong but Salford show signs of improving, especially at home. They have beaten Widnes, Huddersfield, Castleford and Hull KR and earlier in the season they drew with Wakefield away. The Wakefield game is particularly relevant as it was when Salford were really struggling. Getting odds against for Salford makes them the choice in what should b a close affair.

Suggest £20 Salford @ 13/8 with Ladbrokes.

What's The Voice? Never watched a minute of it tbh.

Big Brother starts on Wednesday though Smiley

Think my Posh-based bets have done better than my horseys to date tbh Adz, but hard to know from spreadsheet given my 85% rebuff rate. Remember the 20-1 coup Fred landed on Danny Swanson to score first v Charlton?

We got a bad break in the Greyhound Derby, Warhawk and Hellcat drawn next to each other in the same heat. With the very impressive Screen Critic and the useful Money Talks in the same heat. Yikes.

Sorry, was it not you who tipped the weird bloke last year? Apologies if I've wronged you there!

Only thing I hate about golf betting is I can never stop backing a player once I go in a few times!

Think i've backed Villegas and Fowler in every major they've ever played even though Villegas seems to have dropped off the face of the earth

Shin is firmly in that catagory now but extremely confident she will be out of it before those two Smiley
