I don't think DRS is all that locked on not to be used. They need to sort out the chap on the controls. Maybe allow the English and Aussie men in white.

Of course DRS will be used. They are about to introduce real time snicko to add to it too. Only the BCCI get away with not using it, and thats down to their power/coffers

How about a small golf interest today Tony.

 Peter Hanson is struggling with a bad neck/back. It was put to me before the Open that he wasn't fit to play but he is trying to secure his US tour card for next season, to do that you need to play 15 US tour events this season.

The thinking was he wasn't fit to play in the Open but would start because it counts as an event played if you then withdraw....he did just that after playing only 5 holes so he now has 12 US tour events this year.

I have backed Russell Henley to beat him in today's 2 ball match at evens, there is just a small chance that Hanson might pull out again and get another event to count towards his 15 for the season. If he doesn't and is fit enough to play ok then we are on at evens and need to beat him. So we are either on at the right price or getting good value.

You must bet it with a firm that pay out on players that withdraw as losers and don't void the 2 ball tho. Stan James are evens Henley and settle their 2 balls as a winner if one of the players withdraws during the round.

Stan James is off limits to me, & the best I could find elsewhere (bit busy at mo) was 10/11 with Paddy Power, so had £44 @ 10/11 for round number ease.

As to Stricker, the assumption would be to oppose him in 18 & 72 hole Match Bets, real or mythical. Most books offer Stricker in various Match Bets.

Chompy had us put £150 at 8/1 (£125,£25 bets)

He then recommended a £450 lay (£150*3 at 4.0)

The position was therefore locked in at £750 if she wins, 0 if she loses

I didn't recommend a lay. I haven't done any laying back at all, coz I'm hard. I mentioned it would be acceptable if TV's Tony Kendall wanted to take the freebie. Merenovice then snapped it off in record time.
