India must be edging towards a backable price.  3/1 approx and they have seen off the new ball on a tough pitch and are 70/2.   Kohli and Pujara the two men most likely to score big in these conditions still at the crease.

Thoughts?

Thought England bowled far too short this morning, and missed a major opportunity. 60-4 was a par score, something like that

Think India will pitch it up far more, someone like Kumar might be unplayable on this even accepting it will flatten out a touch

Anyway, to back you up.... cue a flurry of wickets.....

Still think India are in a decent position if they can post 280 or something.

I know everyone's focused on golf, but I noticed a horse running today 8.10 Doncaster, Billyoakes  33-1. Caught my eye as it had been rec'd by Calum Madell of Theyoungracegoer.com last Saturday at York and it ran a stinker finishing plumb last after a near two month absence from the racetrack. He liked the style of his previous run when winning a maiden at Hamilton.
I found this video of a gallop (8/7/14 http://www.mickchannon.tv/gallops.php ) featuring him and Deeds Not Words who went on to win a Class 2 h'cap at Newmarket at 33-1 three days later.
Probably reading far too much into this and suspicion is that he may prefer some cut in the ground but at 33-1 I had a small win bet.
Lol our friends at Stan James have pushed this horse out to 40s. Good plan this, have a bumbling fool out there as our leader throwing the bookies off the scent

Pujara grinds to 20 off 100 balls.  Proper old skool innings in progress!

Steady session so far from India.  Still over 3/1.  If they get to 250/6 will they still be dogs?

Stop it, you two.

Try this, never fails.

I fancy India to lose 3 quick wickets now.

Hey Tighty,

http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/tour-de-france/stage-12/winner

Orica-GreenEdge have a man in the break today, Simon Clarke. This means that unlike yesterday, they'll be sitting up in the peloton and letting all the other sprinter teams do the work. From what I have seen so far today, Cannondale with Peter Sagan, don't seem to be that interested in sharing pace-setting duties. Giant-Shimano (John Degenkolb) have been doing all the work, but eventually they'll get tired. Oddly, Omega-Pharma QuickStep (Matteo Trentin) are nowhere to be seen, which makes me think that they might see today's stage as an opportunity for Michal Kwiatkowski to make up some time. The last two gradual climbs suit Kwiatkowski perfectly, and with a helping hand from his team-mate, Tony Martin, he might be able to get away from the main protagonists. They descended the final climb in tandem yesterday, and were unlucky not to split the peloton. OPQS might even decide to let Martin go for the win, and TT his way to the chequered flag, much like he did on stage 9, but Trentin doesn't seem to be part of their plans.

Suggest £5 win Tony Martin (100/1) and Michal Kwiatkowski (66/1) to win stage 12.
