Interested to hear thoughts on Sheffield United to win League One next season @ 9/1 (<7/1 elsewhere).
They've just sacked Clough and whilst it's not a huge surprise to football fans in Sheffield, it still seems quite remarkable because they haven't had that bad of a season. I think sacking Clough in my eyes speaks volumes in that they really are going to go for it next year and sacking a manager after an "OK" season might be signify this.
Personally expect them to go all lout in their search for a manager and expect them to be doing the same for players too. It looks as if nothing other than automatic will do.
Not a recc though, thoughts are welcome. 9/1 is priced and no bigger than 7's elsewhere

I suppose Sheff Utd will get it right at some point. They have been in league one for 5 years but their record on managerial appointments is awful. The likes of Robson, Weir and Wilson were shocking.
You might want to see who they bring in as manager before jumping in.

Aussie Rules
At the risk of getting shot down, our top 8 bet for GWS is going well. 6 wins out of 8 puts us in a strong 4th place. Tough games coming up but they are in good form. Off to Vegas now so shall check in with the bet at end of June. Good luck to all going to Vegas!!

There's a 12/1 the field book on the next Brentford manager. Marinus Dijkhuizen unquoted as yet.
Given that Benham is not a man we can easily second guess, that looks value on the face of it, though I suppose it depends who, & how many, are quoted.
Some comedy names in the field, though. Given the team is being run on maths this season, it's rather hard to see an old school manager at the wheel.
Dijkhuizen has been linked with the job overnight. It's going to be that sort of appointment. I wouldn't be expecting Paul Ince to appear on the scrolling banner beneath Natalie Sawyer in the next few days.
Gentle reminder. We do not have to bet on every opportunity.

Hard to bet on something that isn't quoted in the market, to be fair.

With regards to Big Sam I am a fan of his and blaming his tactics on teams going down is wrong imo.
Yes his teams don't play attractive football at times, but it goes the job done on the budget/team he has available.
Another manager worth his salt should be able to keep a team up.
Blackburn and Newcastle got exactly what they deserved when getting relegated. Too many teams have unrealistic expectations of where their team should be in the league

One for Tighty and the cricket boys. Ben Stokes introduced into the betting for SPOTY at 50-1. We like?

For this to win what do we think needs to happen?
Win the ashes?
BS Top bowler and or top batter or up there in both?
Cannot see any markets for these on Oddschecker yet what price would we have on him "Man of the Series" for the ashes?
I always like these SPORTY angles/bets!
