and i saw this
Tony Martin is the rightful favourite, but Tom Dumoulin is the value bet...
http://btfr.co/TDF-Stage1
i think this was suggested yesterday on here

final part of the brain dump
Cilic and Isner went off at 10-10 in the fifth last night
two massive servers, cilic was a break up early in the 5th, was broken back and here we are
Cilic serves first
both fit and durable, used to long matches
is cilic serving first enough to justify 4/6 and 7/5
http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens/marin-cilic-v-john-isner/winner
or is it a toss up and Isner is some value?

Personally sitting this stage out. I have some doubts after he was beaten in the Dutch TT championships last week and he blamed it on fatigue. Not quite as bullish after hearing some dutch media reports last night.
Sagan available at around 2.00 on betty still if fred wants to get involved, points classification.

Up to you and the team, let me know
Tonji = Time trialler. good all-rounder
cheapwetsuit = climber. often uphill but he'll occasionally win a big mountain stage unexpectedly out of nowhere
nellberg = sprinter. Emerges at the end of stages with a quick burst, then disappears again til the same time the next stage

Quite like two today as we seem a bit slack in sweats.
First is on the box in 2.35
I have been waiting for Gabriels Kaka to run back at Sandown since he came from nowhere to finish second in this race here last year in similar conditions to today.
He faces a couple of Johnstone horses that I was keen to find reasons to also back, especially Mister Universe, who I had visions of setting a steady pace and then quickening up the home straight. However with Jacob Black and Ifwecan also keen front runners, this should be set up for a closer.
GK is now back off its last winning mark, and has been running like this has been the plan for a while.
He has Pat Dobbs on his back who, I think rides Sandown as well as anyone, and despite a poor draw, it should not affect his hold up tactics.
I note Linfoot has put it up, but Fahey has also played down his chances in his SL column(always a good sign, I've found) stating he wont like conditions, but they are the same as last year. He is also much better off with Ifwecan who he finished one place behind in third in the race last year, who is 10 points shorter in places. His price remains a generous looking 18-1.
Try £15 ew
Later at Beverley, I like the chances of KMac's favourite horse Thatcherite in the 3.00.
He is back off his winning mark at his fav track with a decent draw. He has been running in races not suited to his style of running recently, but a large field with a strong pace, suits his style. Expect him to encounter loads of problems and hopefully find gaps late on the rail.
Try £10 ew at 11-1. GL

Hi all,
Sorry for the late post. Here are my pre-qualifying bet suggestions:
Race Winner:
Nico Rosberg at 2/1 with CoralReef. Has looked good all weekend. Had car problems in practice three, and may not get pole as a result. However, even if he doesn't, I still expect him to have the better of Lewis over a race distance. Suggest £10.
To reach Q3:
Pastor Maldonado at 6/4 with Fembrokes. This is value, should be EVS. Suggest £12.50 (£10 feels too low, £15 feels too high).
Not to be classified:
Jenson Button at 11/10 with BlueSkyBet. Over evens on this is a bit silly, especially on a mechanically tough circuit like Britain. Suggest £10.

Yes, I saw this. Bit disappointed I didn't hold off on my suggestion until now.
While I am less confident, I am still confident.
I would say:
Perez 55%
Kvyat 20%
Verstappen 15%
Sainz 10%

Yep, they're quick over one lap, but others were carrying more fuel.
In addition, both Toro Rosso and Red Bull's pace both drop off considerably when on high fuel (a race situation) in comparison to other teams. Furthermore, they both suffer high tyre temperatures on high fuel compared to other teams - on this circuit, that will cause a big issue.
Given how this qualifying is going, that Perez percentage is rising considerably. I think I have a handle on what's going on here
Will post after quali.
