New manager at City, may not even make the champions league, would be awful for them, Kompany/Toure(spine?) going? Still the questionable defence and if going to sign lots of players, may need time to gel.

Tip of the day - Slavia women to beat Lyon women

    Last week, Slavia Women lost 9-1 to Lyon in France in the Champions League Qtr final. The Lyon women are professional, the Slavia team are amateurs. And there is a bigger budget for Lyon women than there is for Slavia men. Tonight is the return leg. Slavia are 70/1 to win, 20/1 for a draw.

    I am currently in Prague, and last night, the Lyon football team were in my hotel. And they were getting properly bevvied up last night, why wouldn't they, they're not going to surrender an 8 goal advantage. This morning at breakfast, some of the players were down there and they were getting fired into waffles, pancakes and bryndza (a fatty as fuck sheep's cheese). I went back to my room to collect my luggage before leaving, and on my landing, there were fellas in Lyon tracksuits banging on the doors to wake the players up.
    When I went downstairs, a handful of women were on the bus, a few were grabbing hold of some pastries, but I would wager the vast majority of them were still in bed. They are definitely not taking this game seriously.

    So I am gonna be on a win for Lyon, fill your boots people.

I might put a couple of quid on for fun, although best odds I've found are 30-1 on VC.

Just in and found out that Slavia got the draw. Well in whoever took that daft bet, I nearly didn't post it too, reports from guys degen enough to watch a stram of it is that Lyon were all over Slavia - they cashed out mid game.

Quite like a bet in the T20 cricket today. Gayle +1.5 in a matchbet v Sharma with badbrokes. Apart from Kohli or maybe ABDV when he's in form I wouldn't have Gayle as a dog v anyone. Sharma's hardly been in the best of form either, so that makes the market even more strange. rec £30.

Not sure what would of been statistically best. But personally I went for 2.50 win at 22 and 2.50 dbl chance at 9. My thinking being I've got a chance of a double win. But if it's a draw I still get a nice little profit from it anyway

I watch a fair amount of 4th, 5th and 6th tier football in Berlin and I'm having a bet in the German fifth tier for those that have bet356. There may also be odds on Bwin and elsewhere nearer kick off.

The Oberliga Nord is the fifth tier division that covers Berlin and the area up to the north coast.

Strausberg is a satellite town outside the east of Berlin. Previously they've tried to use local players and younger players but that left them second bottom at the winter break. At that point the owner had a change of heart and they have brought in a host of international imports, (foreigners living in Berlin and busing in several players from Poland to play and train each week). Results have improved a lot and in the five matches since the resumption they have won 1, drew 3 and lost once - with draws against 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the table.

On Saturday they travel to Brandenburger Sud, who are one place and four points above Strausberg in the table. Their form since the winter break has been similar, but they have played a lower standard of teams. Their one win was against second bottom Frankfurt and they lost to the bottom side Hürtürkel (my local team)
