hopefully better luck in China in a fortnight

Rubbish weekend for these bets, although the spreads worked well for those who got on there.

The Vettel, Palmer and Renault bets may well (and should) be voided because Vettel and Palmer had a DNS.

Cant win em all Peter

You are still a massive winner for fred so chin up

I cleaned up on those spreads you put up Peter.  Cheers!  How do you see the season long spreads going?  Williams take a hit presumably?  Force India looked lacking pace as well.

Awesome! Cheesy

You know what, lap one was so chaotic that pretty much every car in the field was carrying some degree of damage. That, coupled with the volume of strategies is making data analysis an absolute nightmare. I've been looking through timing data for around four hours and am not even close to deducing what exactly happened during that race. If this is how the rest of the season will be, we're in for an incredible, albeit complicated, season.

Both Williams and both Force India's lacked pace due to damage. I'm still working through the data, and should hopefully be able to draw conclusions over the coming days. It looks like buying Haas on the spreads wouldn't be a bad move right now, although I still need to be more certain before making that move.
.

I bought Grosjean pre season and am up about 50 points and just topped up on Haas a few hours ago as I think they are still too low.  Would welcome your thoughts when you've taken a look though as might adjust further.

Big man
Big man will win a memorial tournament named after ANDRE THE GIANT

Cena Orton Goldberg will never make their long awaited returns on a preshow nothing match
Bray wyatt too big a name to win it

This is crazy
And happens every year
A bunch of big names are short priced then don't end up showing up

AJ styles is 9/4 to beat Chris Jericho. Jericho won't be working with WWE again until June (not 100% confirmed but strongly rumoured)

It's also their "decider" match and Chris Jericho defeated Styles previously.

To me, it doesn't make any sense why Jericho would win this match.

Jericho also has a history of "putting over" new talent in previous years. AJ styles has only been in the WWE for a couple of months so would make sense to get a push.

I've got a ladies world T20 tip for anyone who is up early. It is tricky to find the markets but the best I've found so far is:

New Zealand spinner as Leigh Kasperek top tournament wicket taker 20/1 Betfair sports book, EW top 4 places. Recommend EW bet.

The leading wicket takers for other nations are listed 12s or better on there.

I know Fred seems to struggle getting on with them but some might want to get on.

In her most recent T20 warm up game in India vs England Kasparek recorded figures of 4/12. In her previous three matches in a series against Australia she had 3/26, 4/7 and 2/27.

She is Scottish and new on the scene in womens international cricket. She is the big favourite for top NZ wicket taker in their first match today but down the list for the tournament overall, I can only speculate that it is because she is so new she isn't included in any rankings. NZ are around joint third favourite and so expected to get to the semi finals where she would get an extra match and maybe even the final.

market here. I've also found it on bet365 at 18/1
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/womens-t20-world-cup/womens-twenty20-world-cup/top-bowler

EDIT: Also 20s on Paddy Power 1/4 odds top 4 places EW the same.

Market will close at 10am when first game starts...

Three-way tie for 1st place.

Top tip!

http://stats.espncricinfo.com/icc-womens-world-twenty20-2016/engine/records/bowling/most_wickets_career.html?id=10293;type=tournament

Also, for anyone who used Bet365 I think that they settle on best average, in the event of a tie on wickets, so she won that outright.

Morning tighty.

It's nice to have tennis tournaments back that aren't going to be won by the odds on favourite.

In Houston we have the anomaly that is a clay court tournament in the USA, although it plays more like a hard court. In recent years this has been won by both Sock and Isner, and Isner is not a clay courter in any shape or form. Both of these players are in the top half of the draw so I am looking at the bottom half for value. The 2 seeds with byes in the bottom half are Lopez and Paire. Paire has let us down already this year, and not shown any form at all and Lopez is too old and slow now to be a 5-1 shot. My selection is Sam Querrey, who has reached the final before and has been playing well this season. Ladbrokes have a standout price so he gets the nod.

Suggest £10 e/w Querrey @ 12-1 with Ladbrokes.

Will now try to move this post.

Good luck with this one, he has made hard work of it.  I backed this myself when he was 15/8.   I'm selfishly hoping Wazza doesn't make it back.   I suppose that help's England as well though.
