Might need 30 to win the boot this year.  Can't see how a rag or semi rag can realistically win it.  When MC are going away to top half teams and pounding them by 5 someone could really get a double figure score put on them this year.  I think the key question for this market is who is going to take MC's pens if SA keeps missing them?  Who is gtd 2nd choice if he isn't on the pitch and/or they make a change?   Sterling will never take them right?

More City questions Smiley

Our best taker is Gundogan, but Aguero will always have first dibs if on the field. Jesus doesn't have a great record but is probably the default 2nd choice.
There are probably half a dozen players who could argue they should be taking them if Aguero isn't playing (KDB, Sterling, Mahrez, Bernardo, Silva etc), but I think one of the 2 forwards will take priority.

Sergio is the boss and will always take them in the league if he is on the pitch. Needs to miss at least 2 before any chance of anyone else taking over. Very close at the weekend with the re-take but he is not missed one for 3 years in the league and a conversion rate of 92% with 11 from 12 under Pep.

Jesus will take them if he on and Aguero off. Yep, strikers perogative and all that and Sterling after Jesus.

Rodri going to get enough game time to be a runner in Young POTY @ 18-1 hhhyyyfffhhhyyy?

I feel under pressure now, where's Archer gone to field some of these City questions? Smiley

Yes, I think so. I've mentioned before, I don't think YPOTY is a particularly strong field, and you can now remove Sane from the equation.
Rodri looks a bit of a beast but obv playing in a somewhat unfashionable position to get the recognition for these awards.
Can see him having a big season though and playing an integral part in any success we might have, so certainly wouldn't put anyone off at 18s.

Regarding Sterling, as we discussed you could easy just back him every year for goals and POTY. Odds on both have obv been slashed after yesterday, it was an impressive performance but do get the impression the bookies have overcompensated for what ultimately was just one game in what will be a long season.
I know I'm fighting a losing battle but for me the real value in the POTY market is Bernardo now he's out to 14s. Seems like another big overreaction from beteveryday due to him starting on the bench yesterday, and I feel it's a great spot to take advantage of said overreaction.

Bernardo is the nuts obviously.  City won every game he started in 2019 including shootouts in the league cup and CS.  And then player of the tourney in Nations League. So just 5 trophies for him in the calendar year Smiley  (He didn't start the loss at Newcastle and was injured for the CL defeat at Spurs). Comfortably our POTY last season by a landslide which means he has to be best player in the league. Made VVD look stupid as well 2 or 3 times.

Agree with Chompy though and don't think he has enough MOTD highlight moments to win POTY.  Only Sterling or KDB can win it for me from City unless Aguero goes mad and scores an absolute ton.

But this is about value and Liverpool's best player is at 25s with Sly - Sadio Mane.

They said in comms that was his third pen miss in a row before he scored after a retake that was the main reason for my question tbh.   NOt sure if thee comms made a mistake.

Comms right. He had one at Swansea in a cup game which came back off the post and back in off the keeper. Then the miss at Spurs in the CL.  TBF his CL record is dodgy. Conversion rate only about 70%. Similar to Thierry Henry in that respect who had great Premier League record but actually missed more than he scored in Champions League.

Two comfortable wins for Wednesday and no game for in the cup (v Bury).

Away to Millwall and are 2/1, don't mind this.

My NFL sub markets preview for players is up today

https://www.bettingemporium.com/tips/index/260

It's free to view.

A few typos I have just spotted aside I think it's good and I really enjoyed researching and writing it.

It has ten ante post positions from 10-1 to 66-1 alone

Sorry for the BE spam I know it can rankle some and I rarely link to these types of reports because of that but these are good spots that I am on myself.

Cheers Tighty.  First one was a good read.  Good luck in the season ahead taking over the reins from NC at BE on the NFL.  Think the new approach makes sense as there are so many special markets on the nfl week to week now rather than trying to beat the rock solid game lines.

Two cracking reads, especially the second one.

Good work Tighty.

Montgomery is currently the biggest NFL bet of the season for me.

Tighty was enough, but I guess I'll have some more now.
