And nor, I suggest, are you without an agenda if you bandy about phrases about the nhs being "effectively destroyed" by the current administration.  Hyperbole perhaps?

Is wanting to maintain an NHS now an agenda?

Yes, I've got an agenda. I love the concept of an NHS that's available to all in the country, delivered according to need rather than ability to pay. Something that is undeniably being eroded. It's not hyperbole, it's a deeply regrettable fact.

If you want to debate that, then I'd suggest another thread though,  as it might derail this one slightly.

Of couse not - but saying the NHS is being "destroyed" is hyperbolic nonsense.  Indicates someone who has a pretty strong pro-public ownership leaning if they feel they need to use such exaggeration to make a point.

Which then grates if that person then lectures us that analysis made by other organisations should be ignored on the basis that the organisation has an agenda of privatisation.

Last word from me on this before I risk a thread derail.  As far as I know this country still offers a health service which is free at the point of use for all it's citizens irrespective of their income.  That is the fact of the matter.

Was at an office today and saw 700 envelopes being packaged, asked if it was payroll day and was told it is a special all staff letter regarding the dangers to their industry of a yes vote. I can imagine this is happening all over the country. Anyone willing to stick their neck on the line and warn staff of the dangers of a no vote?

The only dangers are to the self serving business leaders.

This debat will be won in the housing estates across Scotland.  Katest ICM poll is 51/49 so within the Margin of error.

I predict final count will be 53/47 in favour of yes.

Hmmm - not sure I like that.  Companies coercing their employees how to vote?

Highlighting the potential impact on your industry is important. Would rather they heard it from the company than Alex Salmond as they know their business better than any politician. This is in family type businesses whose consious could likely not accept laying of staff and being asked "why did you not warn us?".

Yeah I guess.  Suppose it's not different from a trade union urging members to vote red and giving the reasons why.

It's a cracker.  Check it every morning with coffee.  Dunno what I'll do when the vote is done and dusted.
