Excellent 0-0 win yesterday. Great entertainment and a tour de force from the reliable Chambers. Wenger knows.

Alexis has not travelled with the squad for today's match with Bournemouth.

The writing appears to be on the wall - but who's wall is the only question.

at least four months too late. Been half hearted all season and value less now than it would have been in August due to impending contract expiry

Sadly despite all that, he's probably been one of our best players still.   I'm in the "would like to see him stay" camp now - if we're going to have a crack at the Europa League we'll need someone that can make plays like Alexis.   We all know we won't sign anyone interesting this window.

As someone who has watched almost every minute of his performances this season "half-hearted" is not a description that comes to mind as he simply is unable to play like that.

It's simply lazy jounalists who have applied that tag to him as it fits their narrative.

If we are letting him go now as seems clear then we have a replacement coming in I'd wager.

Every chance - just unlikely to be with us - or untied imo as I'm pretty sure that is all smoke.

Sanchez to United according to this:

The journo, Sam Lee, is usually very reliable with this stuff.

another journalist writes

"Arsenal such a mess right now. Distant investor owner, powerless yes men on the Board, failing management and faded manager. Urgently needs an overhaul from top to bottom"

 WORST EVER ARSENAL TEAM?

Jamie Redknapp thinks so......

It's hard to think of a time we were poorer than this.  I'm quite surprised we're 6th in the league.
