From Tim Stillman on the arse blog

"It feels like Arsenal is too fundamentally broken to be reanimated again. A dead cat will only bounce so many times before its bone structure disintegrates and its corpse simply falls to earth with a meaty thump. Yet we are fast approaching the point where Arsene is going to have to switch the machine off and then switch it back on again."

this report says its the worst Arsenal team in 20 years

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/worst-arsenal-team-more-20-11850979

another journalist writes

"Arsenal such a mess right now. Distant investor owner, powerless yes men on the Board, failing management and faded manager. Urgently needs an overhaul from top to bottom"

 WORST EVER ARSENAL TEAM?

Jamie Redknapp thinks so......

hyperbolic stuff, or grounded in accuracy?

Ooh.  When we were full strength we beat Spurs,  beat man u 1-3, beat Liverpool 3-3 and beat Chelsea several times although the scores didn't reflect that. Worse squad rather than worst first xi. For this wengerout

So we might get Mikhitargaryen. Sweetens the pill a little of selling one of our best to man u I guess and think he could do quite well. Was definitely in the keep Sanchez camp if we were just gonna get a fee but this feels slightly better. Wenger is so shrewd

Does Arsène Wenger have a vision to retool his whole squad on the fly?

Subject to all sorts of caveats - including, possibly - Giroud to Chelsea - it seems like Aubameyang may be on his way to Arsenal, with a £60 million price on his head.

Somehow, from what I read & see, he does not quite seem to be the sort of character Wenger would want.

Shy, modest & retiring he's not.

Giroud to Chelsea - pretty gutted, I like Giroud.  Can see why but a sad day.

Yep, me too, thought he was rather hard done by with no-one bought to date a significant upgrade - maybe Aubameyang will prove to be but don't think Lacazette has been so far

Looking forward to seeing Mikhitaryan if he gets on tonight

Daily mail made a thing about how your new signing is faster than usian bolt over 30 meters. I think wengner is faster than bolt over that distance though

Especially when he's chasing a 2 year contract extension.
