I think I'm going mad with all the excellent fare on offer today, but I quite like a stab at a horse not seen out for over two years.

In the 4.10 at Sandown,  Beat That returns for the first time since the start of 2015, when he was pulled up at Cheltenham.

Prior to this he looked a potential world beater following wins at Aintree and Punchestown.

Now who knows how he will return after this sort of a break, but I like the fact Coleman has been booked. Hendo is chasing the title and unless he felt the horse was very well, its a strange time of year to bring him back out, for a pop round. I also feel Hendo would have entrusted that to one of his apprentices, or someone known to the horse. Maybe.

I also fancy most of his opposition have been targeted at plenty of other races prior to this and several could well be "over the top" for the season. For sure I doubt any other horse here has been primed for this...Maybe.

Anyway at 20-1 I feel its worth a few shekels for those that like to chance their arm on my musings. Don't be surprised if he is pulled up after 3 hurdles though, after this sort of break you just dont know........Good luck us.

Jumped well, and travelled well enough to trade at 2.7 in running. Personally I think he probably needed a stronger pace, but good to see old mate Lami Serge finally win a decent prize, regardless.

Turning for home I thought we were in with a shout, but he weakened quickly.

Scottish Greyhound Derby semi-finals tonight at Shawfield and the prize for winning one of them? £300 plus a spot in the final of course but even so...

The sport is in terrible decline.

Ed Chamberlain can tell us how great everything about the Guineas, Newmarket, & of course he'll blabber on non-stop about Frankel's progeny (Nap). Trust me, he will.

Frankel, Frankel, Frankel.......

Surprised nobody else has taken on Tony Hind as their agent.

Crowley has left, obv, now he's landed the toasty Hamdan gig, so Hind only has Ryan, Mullen and Fortune. None of those will be chasing the championship.

The likes of Fran Berry and Oisin are missing a trick here.

Betfair sportsbook are 6/4 Churchill when only 2.34/2.36 on the exchange.  Please come and bet with us, so we can close your account?

Could do with a bit more quarter first 3 about tomorrow.

Al Wukair is 5/1 on stars and even at a fifth first 3, you should beat the place price with all the outsiders.

For the life of me I dont know why an educated bloke like you would say this Doobs.

Why would a firm offer a slightly bigger price on one race to lure you in just to ban you? Just makes zero sense.

No casual punter is ever going to back the jolly lumpy two days before the event.  By putting out an 'arbing' carrot' they can lure in the semi pros and pros (if they still have a betfair account) and if they lump enough on they know they are probably arbers and totally price sensitive.  Surely this is pretty easy to understand? .   This is how they operate nowadays.  Highly effective way of closing down price sensitive accounts.  The game is gone with the corporate firms.  They just don't have opinions that they will actually lay a bet to. Thats what happens when you only pay your under 25 guessing loltraders straight out of uni £30k a year to run your desk.

BFSB closed my account before they even started trading as a sportsbook.  They used betfair excahnge data to close accounts of winners before the sportsbook even opened.  Obviously they don't advertise this fact.  I have never had a bet on my 15 year old betfair exchange account on their sportsbook just for balance.

In a pure world, of course I understand. However, your very observation would suggest, a proper pro would have been scouted out by BFSB long before now. A small margin on the Guineas is hardly breaking cover. By being longest on Oddschecker doesnt mean you get auto banned if you take it up.

If you are lucky enough to have a full limit account on BFSB have a full limit bet and see what happens to your limits.   What is a full limit BFSB limit on this horse adz?  i assume your account will tell us? Please post the results after you have nicked your 1% on the exchange risk free after commission.

A proper pro as you state would have been closed down ages ago but they put out these carrots to close to their 'mates' accounts who they are getting on with.  Very easy way to do it and having an easy explanation to the 'board' when the fav hoses up to protect their jobs.  Jolly won the big race.  Course we lost.  What did you expect Mr Director?

Feel free to have a full limit bet on the sportsbook and lay it off on the exchange and then tell me about your SB limits on monday morning if you think i am wrong!  You can make money whilst you do it.

Strangely, as i have mentioned before, I dont go bulldozing in and press max bet on one account, on an account closing bet. That would set off alarm bells all over, just to make a few extra quid and lose a valuable account.

That would be a very stupid thing to do for anyone that is trying to make money from betting, wouldn't it?!!!

In my experince mucking around trying to nick a few quid on lots of bets is a waste of time. They will get you sooner rather than later.

Better to play for the max on every +ev spot and hope you last long enough to win before they shut you.
