Believe me, nobody who makes the game pay is either all over social media or on TV. Cough, cough, Nevison, cough.

Blakeney point and The Cashel Man.   Glad we still have 17.

The famous Hill at Epsom, home of the Derby, is to be renamed the 'Poundland Hill' in a new corporate partnership with the High Street store

slightly odd for an aspirational sport,no?

I think it's only the hill where people have been watching the racing for free for centuries.

It's still rather tawdry.

Was nailed on when they never took her to Chelts.

Doubt many of us will. It cost me over 2 grand, and I only had a fiver on the four of them antepost

Jamie gets a lot of stick but mistakes are inevitable when they ride like that, same as Cash Asmussen back in the day. But he's one of the best when he gets it right and his straight-course record at Ascot is as good as it is for a reason. The likes of Russell and Ruby do it all the time over jumps but have more time and less traffic to deal with.

Silvestre and Ryan are miles clear of the current crop imo, with SDS some way ahead of Moore. So, so good.

Had an afternoon of listening to the RUK pundits the other day. Rishi telling us all how polished Rossa Ryan is, which shows how much weight a good reputation carries. He was favourite to be champion apprentice pre-season but has a long way to go for me. Mistakes and a couple of ordinary rides, even on winners. Goes wide a lot too.

Love the way SDS never gives up. Always feel I have had a ride for my money if he is on them.

I think you have to be selective with Spencer and accept a certain amount of failure. I am one of his biggest critics, but look for a almost an ew price to factor in the "boxed in , fast finish" effect.

I assume that classing Rishi as a pundit, was tongue in cheek.........?

I like the look of one in todays opener at Leicester and think it might be a decent e.w punt with a shorty in the race.

Rhosneigr runs for Charlie Hills who has a 25% strike rate with his 2 year olds this season with 5 runners and 6 places from 20 runners.  Over the last 14 days he has 40% win/place record so the stable seems to be in reasonable form.

Will Buik seems o be riding well and with confidence just now and despite him being 0 - 4 on Hills horses he has had 2 places.

The sale price for the horse rose consisederably from foal to yearling.  The pedigree altgough not great does seem more for speed than a stayer.

I think all things considered 16/1 represents a sporting chance.

Any thoughts on the race?
