Even though I've bet Summerville boy for the supreme looking
Back on the tolworth it's hardly been a sparkling supreme trial
Think last winner of both was noland and iirc the ground was on the softer side back in 06
The first 3 tend to go on to be stayers, even best mate was placed in the tolworth. I'm worried SB and
Kalashnikov could get outpaced if the ground comes up quick.
Watched getabirds last run and really did poach a lead to start but jumped brilliantly after
And really quickened after the last. Very hard to crab his form and way more qualified to go off
A short price than melon was last year. Just a few things about getabirds constitution I don't like
(Had niggly problems) and was off a long time before December. It really doesn't look a deep race
And getabird does look sure to improve on quicker ground and I'm starting to think could be way too quick for
This lot.

The Ascot 'Chase this afternoon is a fascinating contest choc-a-bloc with quality - unfortunately there are only seven runners.

I'm with Waiting Patiently today which is on my "keep betting until it gets beat" list even though my old friend Top Notch is in the field.

Had a score on WP to win today, and to win the Ryanair @ 16/1.

Had to have a bit of the 12s that everyday are offering for the KG, though.

I think the jockey said that the ground at Ascot today was as quick as he wants it and that was soft unless it changed, which might be a a slight concern.

Otherwise appears to be a very progressive horse - beating Cue Card on a going day is no mean feat.

Claisse loves the sprinklers, so hopefully we'll see him on the Thursday.
