I'm rather annoyed that I'm going to miss my planned "first ever protest march" as Trump has rather unsportingly decided to visit when I'm away.

I admire protests and have been on a fair few. Typically, more substantial matters I'd venture.

This might have been the most well heeled protest march in history. Prosecco in one hand, placard in the other - tens of thousands of home counties accents united in their grief that even now, not everybody agrees with them when they are obviously so very very enlightened/woke.

As someone who voted remain, I'm not sure what there is to get behind. There is no consensus on how Britain should leave the European Union.

Some MPs who are "respecting" the referendum result are campaigning for staying in the customs union, which would keep free movement of people. I guess I'm behind that, but that isn't what many leave voters want is it? If this is to happen, I think we might as well stay in and not lose our place at the table. So I'm still for remaining.
