Some quit einteresting informal electoral pacts going on

Libs not standing in brighton to help caroline lucas/green get back

Ukip not standing against Kate Hoey in Vauxhall

Also not standing in Ilford North - to help Tories vs wes streeting. streeting's maj for labour is 589 and UKIP got 4000 votes last time. He's toast.

(cliffs, for now she's incredibly popular)

Why the Tories are talking up Labour

If voters cannot envisage Corbyn in No 10, why should they play their party in a Theresa May coronation?

on the other hand it is suggested as follows by one politicaleditor

Why Lab. MPs think they can win seats:

1. Local reputations.
2. Corbyn can't become PM.
3. Preventing Tory super-majority.
4. Tribal loyalty
