Second referendum is fine but think we should commit to a best of three scenario before we hold a second one.

Oh and nice to see Jez still saying sensible things. I'm such a fan.

This March looks like being the first month since GE2017 when there were more CON lead polls than LAB ones

300 million people depart GB every year, holiday, business travel plus immigration (I guess here are about 300m back in again anyway) and emigration. This is supposed to be managed by a govt computer system, shockingly it doesn’t work very well. (Well it’s not a surprise at all, but whatever).

200,00 people have left but it wasn’t known the they had arrived, 600k are missing but should have left, but haven’t been seen to have done so. It turns out that if you don’t look at ferries, eurostar, or the Irish border then your numbers don’t add up.

Govt believes everything is working well and there is no need to chage anything. It’s weird I get more pissed off at the lying and incompetence of govt IT, and govt spokespeople than I do about levels of net immigration. They should just say well actually there is not a lot we can do and we have no idea what is going on anyway.

Chuka Umunna says Thornberry's suggestion that Labour will accept the Tories' Brexit deal is "extraordinary and unacceptable".

Have to say I really admire her resilience through such a testing period and I think she's somehow managed to work herself into quite a trusted position (in the eyes of the general population) on Brexit..that's no mean feat

Oh dear now you’re gonna get it

FWIW I partly agree with you, she is on an upward curve from an admittedly low starting point.

The appearance of progress on Brexit has helped her (without progress on the Irish border question any 'agreements' aren't worth a lick) but it's the Russia stuff that has worked in her favour - the EU and US also kicking out Russian diplomats has given her the sheen of a PM leading the world on a foreign policy crisis.
