That's Tony Blair that is.

Foreign Office Minister Sir Alan Duncan's attempts to re-spin having got his boss Boris Johnson taken in by Russian pranksters are so ridiculous they might be an audition for a job in the Kremlin. Sketch here.

How do the Tories resolve this dilemma? Cost of living biggest issue for people, so tax rises a v bad idea. But they want/need to spend more on the NHS

Current Brexit Position:

UK Government does not know what deal it wants, has not prepared for No Deal and does not know how to stop the departure clock it activated. All good otherwise!

things like the irish border and customs are virtually unsolvable in the time available, but the muppetry being shown on top of that by the ERG (and its hold on a minority government) means there is a nasty reckoning on the way

After 8 years of budget cutting, Britain is looking less like the rest of Europe and more like the U.S., with a shrinking welfare state and spreading poverty
