The one thing that’s been hugely detrimental over the last few years is division. It would be difficult to oppose that point.

Brand new PM kicks off with hey presto...division

Don’t like referendum result mew mew don’t like new PM mew mew

If division is the problem how are the mew mews solving it? Obv a logical wizard technique I’m unacquainted with.

Unfortunately he is my MP.

Given the resources thrown at toppling Clegg over the last 2 general elections, God only knows how the Labour Party selected this fuckwit in the first place.

The local Labour Party seem to be heavily influenced by the crackpot momentum crowd. They recently backed Williamson in the anti Semitic argument.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/politics/2019/mar/01/local-labour-parties-drawn-into-row-over-antisemitism-claims

They are an embarrassment.

Let’s hope the Lib Dem’s win the seat back next time.

It takes two sides to make a division

Why is MPs opposing no deal any different than the division caused by MPs (particularly Conservative, but some Labour) opposing May's deal and causing division a few months ago? Unite behind the deal, get out....

Both major parties are divided, what was along Remain/Leave lines is now increasingly Must leave with a deal/go for no deal

In the country, polls are currently showing 20%ish Brexit Party, Labour, Conservative and Lib Dems. Very rare, and very divided

Why should those opposed to no-deal roll over and go against their strongly held beliefs for the sake of unity when those who opposed no deal, for example, escape the same opprobrium from yourself?

The situation is that Boris has no majority and has to govern to succeed within that, that means emollience towards those MPs in his party who didn't vote for him and people who don't want no deal for him to get stuff done.. Or should do

Whatever successes he achieves, or failures, he and fellow Brexiteers surely have to own them from this point on? No more hiding behind "it would be different if we didn't have a remainer PM" or blaming May or the EU for their own lack of clarity, plans and achievable strategy.

Going to be interesting to see him plot his way through the next five months.

What do you think Johnson needs to get from the EU in order to satiate enough of the ERG to get a deal through Parliament?

So people are aware

Jared O'Meara sacked all his staff

https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/politics/sheffield-mp-jared-omara-sacks-all-of-his-staff-and-locks-them-out-of-his-office-39681

may well have recruited Gareth Arnold. as he is mentioned here

https://www.thestar.co.uk/news/politics/its-just-not-good-enough-mums-anger-after-sheffield-hallam-mp-jared-omara-cancels-three-meetings-486078

There seems little doubt that Gareth is unpleasant

https://twitter.com/garetharnolduk

There is a lot of history appearing, which suggests he wasn't the greatest choice to be comms director for a left wing MP

Piers Morgan seems to be correct

https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/1153764867624456197

On the other side Jared has a worse attendence record, and has done less for his constituents, than Nigel Farage.

If people want to carry this on, please consider that Jared O'Meara has previously stated he has made 3 suicide attempts, has some serious mental health issues and has cerebral palsy.  It appears he may also have addiction issues.

Clearly a terrible MP, but probably needs a better support network than Gareth.

The Scottish independence vote was very close

How many MPs quit, how many marches and demonstrations, how much exposure in the news, how much character assassination

There’s always gonna be division but there’s also Keep Calm & Carry On
