features of the final

so far

luke marsh has got the better of mad turk in three big pots, 3 betting twice and then winning post flop and on a third occasion check calling turk down with what became fourth pair on the river. Marsh was good

Jackson and Turk played an interesting pot

Turk raised

Jackson defended his big blind with A-10hh

it came A-2-7 one heart

Jackson check called

turn another 7, a heart

Jackson check called

river offsuit 6

Jackson checked and Trk bet 400,000 into 850,000

Jackson agonised

Quote

i know you want me to call, i should call as i have called the flop, not much has changed

and turk hearing this is in overdrive

Quote

come on you used to be a good player, how can you fld an ace here? hey internet whizzkids (railing) you have to call here with an ace right, odds say it? Jackson you have become terrible

(all lighthearted)

Jackson listens to a several minute diatribe along these lines and folds

Quote

only tell me i am terrible player if you show me the bluff

Turk does not show

A couple of minutes pass and Turk says to him, sotto voce

Quote

great fold, i rivered with pocket sixes

more

Jackson then called a raise from Luke Naylor with 8-8

flop 8-3-3, and he checked twice hoping Naylor would take the bait but got paid a nice bet on the river to win something from the hand
