I was just saying this to someone on skype. Look at what £12m buys you in the championship and you can sign a player like this who scored in world cups for only a few quid more. The transfer market is barmy at times when you sit down and look at it logically. |

Im a Man u fan. But i don't think he will fit into you Philosphy of quick, flowing football. He has the ability when he can be bothered i just think he is to lazy of a player to play in your style of football and is even more of a liability the luis! I don't think he would be a good addition to your team

This is a left-field signing. £16m and 'only' £90K a week for a player of his capabilities is a bargain.
Of course there's a MASSIVE risk. He's bonkers. But that doesn't worry me as much as his attitude on the pitch in terms of working for the team, etc. If Brendan can instil that in him then he could be a massive asset for the side. If not, then I can't imagine Rodgers will take too much of his shit and he'll be moved on?
Exciting though.
