Beverley?   But isn't that in Yorkshire?  Suspect that is controversial given the history of the county boundaries.  Or did the trip go further? 

Love Beverley too, the place.  Don't think I have ever been to Emly moor, what else is there?  That transmitter isn't how I imagined it all those years.

Ha missed the pun... and the misspelling of Emly.  It didn't look right, but just assumed it was OK.   Have read the info, bet they must have crapped themselves when the old one toppled!

When I was a boy I used to come here for a bath once a month whether I needed one or not.

1/6 (15p) for a big clean rough towel, a small cake of soap, a sachet of pink or yellow shampoo and 10 gallons of hot water.

Strangely enough I've been researching small strong permanent magnets for use in my camper.  They are actually quite expensive.

I do have one such magnet, (pic to follow) it's about the size of an uncrowned draught and is so strong that I will take bets that once stuck to a piece of steel, people can't remove it by hand unless they slide it off an edge.
