Audrey's wiki page is a great read.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audrey_Hepburn

definitely one of my favourites. Roman Holiday with gregory peck is as close to cinematic perfection you will get.

Remember the "Mouth of truth"?

When we went to Rome, My dad and I recreated that scene. (We took turns at playing Audrey Hepburn)

My favourite Gregory Peck film also happens to be one of my favourite books. To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee.

Yep. Great film.

My fave Peck flick is The Big Country. Although for me, Burl Ives steals it.

You arranged a trip to the docs yet?

Geo

I've been OK since Geo, 'cept for a little ache around my kidney area. (It hurts when I jog).

My eldest girl has been in hossie for a few days to have a bit of an operation. She's home again now, we went to see her yesterday. She looks a bit pasty, but she was eating chocolate so that's a good sign.

Any road up, I was off forum for most of the day, so I didn't manage to comment on some of the excellent film posters. I loved Ralph's Casablanca, and the story that went with it, and what about bobAlike's DEATH WISH? What an iconic image that is. It spawned a whole new genre.

Gentlemen Prefer Blonde's Geo? Not in this case, I'm going for Jane Russell (Although I'd swap both Jane and Maralyn for Audrey Hepburn)

Indeed Jane Russel was just stunning in that film and a great choice of Audrey Hepburn, the wife and I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's again the other week.

I am a huge fan of My Fair lady where she showed some great comedic talent also.

The Mrs and I are great fans of a lot of the old musicals and we have quite a collection, Doris Day/Judy Garland/Kelly/Astaire/Crosby/Sinatra (IMO was a cracking actor although more famous for his singing and "connections")

Geo

That's it Geo, I'm adding it to my bucket list.

OK. I'm starting my bucket list. It's in no particular order, I'll add things as they occur to me.

See a glacier and an iceberg.

Bag a nice Munro.

Bite Sarah's bum.

Have breakfast at Tiffany's.

It's already on ours

Bidding

Please note that by making a bid, you are agreeing to purchase this land. If you are not familiar with buying land, seek independent professional advice. We reserve the right to reject bids from bidders with zero feedback unless prior contact is made.

Serious bidders only please.

Does that mean you are buying the bunker at the auction price and you have to buy the land separately ?

No, I don't think so. That would be very misleading.

Go on Kev, ask the seller the question.
Like, Will I be able to park my caravan on it? Grin

Zell, when you quote, press enter a couple of times first to scroll down and make a bit of space between your post and the one you're quoting.

PS- The trailer would blow away if you pulled it on them tops.

While I'm thinking about it, and still laughing about it.

Thanks a  lot for the card young Zelley, and even younger Zelley, and for that matter even much younger Zelley.

It was greatly appreciated.

After you pick your taters, you have to put them in there to shake the soil off before you weigh them. The farmer doesn't want to pay you for picking dirt.

Yes. It's a dog cart. (They missed the t off)

Unusual to see a 4 wheel one.

There's a selection here.
