Something made me laugh today. I was going to post it in Tikay's diary but the lack of confidence and self-doubt in that thread makes me feel uneasy. I think this is slowly becoming the superior diary actually.
I was talking to my mother-in-law on the phone today who is a very serious woman. She sounded annoyed and perplexed at what had just happened. But tbf she sounds annoyed and perplexed about most things.

She's currently staying in a hotel in Great Yarmouth and being a smoker thought she'd nip out the front for a quick ciggie. She's standing in front of the hotel and notices a coach which says "Sunshine Tours...For People In The Winter Of Their Lives" and on-board are loads of very old white-haired folk dressed top to toe in beige. Anyway, she's about to light up when the driver shouts out the window "Sorry love you ain't got time for that". Few minutes later the rep jumps off to hurry her onto the coach complaining everyone's waiting for her. ROFL she was devastated, made my day tho.

I stopped reading after the daft bit.

Washers, cooker knobs, end caps, it's all here.

Yeah, that bolded bit's nonsense.  It's always been the superior diary.

Slowly becoming? Blooming cheek! I'm tempted to call you a bastard for the second time in a week.

I'll forgive you though That's easily a Readers Digest 'Life's Like That'  quality £250 story.

I've discovered that I can get into the pictures as a senior citizen if I put my specs on and call everyone shunny.

I've been so busy lately. I haven't had a day off, (not even a Sunday), for weeks. It's a good job I'm not religious.

I'm not complaining BTW, I love to be busy, but I haven't had a game of poker since the 11th of May and I'm starting to miss it.

Tony isn't helping with all his tourney reports.

I'm especially desperate to play one of those £100 Summer Deepstacks at DTD. They're like my equivalent of the $1500 in Vegas.

If you want to download on your phone and then view later (maybe when you haven't got a signal or aren't on wi-fi) you can try: http://tubemate.net

'Masking up'. A job invented by the Devil himself to bring frustration and torment into the lives of the incurably clumsy.

She wasn't wrong, to be fair.
