Ahh, OK. I don't really know how Amazon Prime works. I do Amazon Books & they spam me incessantly, so I think I'll swerve Amazon Prime.
Fascinatingly, Amazon have their own fleet of freight aircraft, & plan to have 70 of them by 2021. Hard to grasp just how big Amazon are.

When we visited the Boeing Factory, we actually saw this one being built. Living the dream, huh?

They were, but I think they are going to abandon it, or maybe already have.

If Amazon are spamming you it's just because you have clicked the wrong button. (Or haven't clicked the right one).
I think they are an excellent company. I'm not a big online shopper but when I do it I do it with them if I can.
Their returns policy is second to none. Don't want the item? Let ithem know and then drop it off at your local garage, post office etc. Your money is back in your account before you get home.
They missed a delivery time and credited my account with £50.

Good morning people.
This morning I have to be up early and I could sleep for a fortnight.
What a cantankerous thing the human mind is.

They are also the biggest cloud computing company by miles. $25bn a year revenues. 34% market share, 2nd biggest has 11%. Some of the stuff they do is amazing.

Tom,
Left-field question for you.
Why are so many dogs unsettled or scared by vacuum cleaners?
I was reminded of it by this Tweet.....
https://twitter.com/TheOwenMyers/status/1182619748309356547
A small percentage of dogs are scared of vacuum cleaners, mostly the puppy farm ones that were born in sheds or barns and then didn't sell quickly so spent some very important months without being socialised or acclimatised to everyday things.
Puppies need to be safely exposed to as many things as possible in their first few months of life and thankfully, most are.
That being said, A large percentage of dogs
don't particularly like
vacuum cleaners, which is a completely different thing. Vacuum cleaners make a lot of noise, (Including a goodly amount that is beyond our hearing range) and they move in unpredictable and dangerous ways.
I hate it when Mrs Red or the girls are vacuuming, I can't hear the stuff that I want to hear and I get chivvied around the room so, more often than not, I make myself scarce.
I suspect most other men are the same.
Yes I’m similar
Bramble however sees it as an opportunity to sharpen her teeth on the brush part n sets about it
Same with a floor mop
It’s quite funnyb

I was in the Lake District yesterday and was away from any modernity like t’internet and reliable mobile phone signal so I am just catching up.
Mention of Joe Cocker, and of Pulp reminded me of two of my favourite cover versions. One, Joe’s cover of A Little Help From My Friends, is probably the finest example of a change of style lifting a song to a far higher plane.
The other, William Shatner’s cover of Common People, is in that oddball category of being so weird that it’s good.

I loved Shatner once he got old and and grounded enough to take the piss out of himself.
It's also reminded me of a poker player who's alias was Shatner Pants.

So how do you know whether you've just woken up early or woken up to go for a wee?

I always wake up early wanting a wee Ralph, but sometimes I know I won't be going back to sleep because between the toilet and the bed I've started fretting about something.
