Playing NLHE you have to learn to accept beats as part of a process. Winning a high percentage of the time
early in a career could be detrimental to the learning process.
Tough periods make players question if they have what it takes and in meny cases forces the player to put aside
more time to doing the ground work for improvement IE reading books, talking with friends about the game, posting
in the hand analysis, joining on line training sites even getting coaching. These are the silver lining to the losing dilemma
in my opinion.
As long as we are adequately bankrolled and don't have huge leaks outside of the game all should be well and we can weather
those brutal downswings with consummate ease and the least damage to our ego/health.
