1200 hours is not appalling in anyway Adam. Especially for Sean who takes a 2 week break after every losing session Wink

Million that you even do half that this year Adam.

I'm talking live poker ofc, Sean doesn't play online so that's what he was referring to.

Prop bet please. Obv won't do 600 a year in dtd but i will in the live pokeys, prob would do a million, but would also accept something 1000x smaller. Only 2 hours a day ffs.

Happy bday Sean

Might try and get a proper diary entry in soon. Cliffs -

Ran like god early on in the deepstack and peaked at 116k. Lost a sick hand versus Taffy. Stuck the rest in with AK and bricked versus JJ. Tom's giving me another go tomorrow, the legend. Had a quick spin up on cash. First hand stacked KQ with AQ on Q 7 5 rainbow for £200 lol. Second hand opened K6 clubs, guy sticks his last £30 in and I agree to call it off if he shows me his hand and I'm live. He shows me AJ and, true to my word, I call. And get there. Got it all in on the flop with bottom set, the board runs out four to a straight flush and I'm good still. What a life.

Hourly profit so far this month is a fairly sustainable £114.97/hr.

Come on day 1b. You know I deserve it.

Run so fucking bad pt. 2

Again just cliffs 'cause I really need to sleep.

I landed the softest table ever and felt very much in charge. Being a nit means I very rarely captain a table, but I was running this show, not an experience I would expect to premiere in the biggest live tournament I've ever played. Developed a great dynamic versus the guy to my right in seat 6, I was owning him hard with some well timed 3bets during the early levels and he started paying me off pretty light later on. Then the 7-7 hand happened versus seat 3. He was the only one who had been taking a stand against me, so it was pretty sick when we played a 150k cooler where I flopped top set and he flopped the open end straight flush draw. Obviously I didn't hold, but I didn't come off the rails completely. I got it in with KJ from the big blind on J T 2 9 versus Q9 and, of course, did not hold. Given the action, it was an absolutely horrendous call, but derpers gonna derp.

This is such a poorly timed run of bad form, but my confidence is still high and we're giving the £150 a crack tomorrow. Had another really good cash session, other than failing to get a bluff through and calling off incorrectly versus a weird checkraise, I was very happy with the way I played. Got some props going, and had some really good table banter. Even when I was losing £170 to begin with I managed not to sink into my hole of misery and sucking despair. My game has come on a lot recently, and I'm beginning to play with an air of confidence. Very happy with the work that I'm putting in, and hopefully something is going to pay off soon!

Now that I've finished marinating in my own testosterone, I'm going to hit the sack ahead of tomorrow's comp (with the Manchester derby on the tube no less.)

Deepstack, you were truly brutal to me - I hope your little sister treats me with a bit more respect. Get therrrrrrre.

1200 hours decent goal. If you play more it'll probably mean you're winning or the games are incred but I cant stress enough how important it is to only play when you're feeling good and the games are good. May aswel go home and do some graphics stuff if you don't feel 100% or the game is rubbish

In the old days, and this is a true story, hope Sean won't mind me telling it. We started a game at gala 5/6 handed. Sean wins a few small pots and is ahead some small amount in the game.

A guy sits with 30quid and limp calls with A rag vs Seans KK and it comes Ace high. I don't even think he doubled up through Sean, I think he won like 15quid in the hand. But Sean was so tilted he was like "right I'm off" lol. Was pretty funny.

This is half a story! Although I do admit I was pretty close to tilt for absolutely no reason. The game was basically Alex, Creasey, Tom and myself and one random fish with £30. Nobody else was sitting down, so it just felt like we could be playing a home game instead, because I'm pretty certain we were each underrolled for the game at the time. Whatever, they convinced me to stay and I stacked Creasey twice.

Just so I have something to shoot for, and so I can start behaving like a real pro, maybe cambridgealex can tell me how many live cash hours he put in over December and January thus far.
