If you can overt your eyes from the handsome fellow in blue and his adorable pet Tiglon, you might have noticed the word "TILT" somewhere in that mutation. I'll wait here for a moment whilst you look for it. Found it? Then let's continue. I'm not sure if it's because Mitch has been working on his upper body strength, but somehow he's managed to raise a good point. One part of my game that always needed serious work was my emotional equilibrium. I used to have all sorts of triggers, but these days it is simply down to prolonged periods of inexplicably bad luck. Any of my friends will have grown accustomed to the little things that I whinge about, but I'm sure had I not subjected them all to a similar story just the week before then they would be amazed. I know some people are just "unlucky," and I know there are obviously millions of people worse off than myself, but if I could somehow video log my life you would undoubtedly witness some of the weirdest things and more frequently than you would care for. I might have to find a place in this diary for these bizarre events. Or maybe I should see a psychiatrist.
To cut a really really really really long story short. Waiting for aces and losing to Q9o, then losing a flip does not = tilt. Being on a 23BI downswing whilst my all-in EV rockets, losing to Q9o, then losing a flop = tilt. Oh well, another day another 168 dollars; I will be playing the £150 deepstack at Dusk tomorrow, then resuming my cash game career on monday for your amusement. Right now I'm off to rail some friends in the DTD £1k event. Peace.
