Only the occasional £100-200 live MTT as a shot. Can't really afford to play many off my own back, and I'm not sure anyone would be willing to back me long-term given the tiny volume and the miniscule profit I'm showing. So - in short - just cash.

Probably wasn't a serious question, but this is something that I get asked quite often. Most people that have met me will have presumed that I was stoned at the time. I have the droopy eyes, the slurry voice, the demeanor of someone who doesn't have a clue what's going on, I have a nervous twitch, etc. I've always been this way. And the short answer is "no."
When I was younger, around 13, I'd reached a stage in my education where I was bored of turning up with all the right answers that all of my peers now in middle management jobs were struggling with no-end. And I was lonely. At the time I couldn't understand why I was always picked on. For a while I thought about death, but - as much as I tried to convince myself I was an atheist - I was petrified of what might lay on the other side. So drugs it was. It started off harmlessly enough, as it always did in the drugs education videos they made us watch once a week in PSE, but before too long I was taking class A's like they were medication. They gave me the confidence to be the exciting human that was trapped beneath the layers of petrified, awkward child. I could make eye contact, I could talk to people I'd never met without cowering, I could dance (maybe.) I knew they were killing my brain (and my back...) but this was who I always wanted to be.

Old Sean sounds a lot more fun.
It was not to last, though. On the new year's eve before my 18th birthday, I overdosed on a couple of things. I shan't divulge too much information, but it was pretty serious, and apparently I'm lucky to be alive. Since that night I've been very prone to anxiety attacks, mild hallucinations, mood swings, etc. I developed a crippling case of OCD, which for the most part I have managed to beat. Needless to say, I can't touch drugs anymore, or alcohol for that matter. So to anyone reading this who has been kind enough to offer me a drink over the years, I hope you will appreciate that I wasn't being rude or ungrateful.
Sorry if this is all too much information.

Sounds like you don't have enough personality disorders. Maybe you should see a therapist about that.

Hi sean,
Sorry if the question triggered a few things you'd have rather not talked about. I did assume that you smoked weed cos of one or two of the things you'd mentioned.
Do you mind saying a bit more about how you got into them. How old were you? Why did you decide to for the first time? How did you get hold of them? How did it feel? Etc

I don't mind talking about it. It's just a long story that doesn't segue easily, so I don't tell it very often. As for how I got into it, I'm not entirely sure. I used to skateboard semi-professionally, and a lot of the people I skated with were recreational users, so I suppose I just got sucked into it. The reasons people get into it are all reasonably similar: unhappy with life, need to take the scenic route, etc. Pretty sure I'm being levelled here, though.
If you don't mind, what things did I mention that drew you to this conclusion? Do you smoke?

What a ridiculous night of poker. I lost two £400 pots and still cashed out a £320 profit.
In a straddled pot behind a few limpers, I raise the button to £11 with

The big blind calls it off for another £60 and the fishbowl calls for another £90. Now the strangest thing happens: they both start putting their coats on. The turn comes the

I've registered for the APAT heads up event on Thursday afternoon, and the PLO side on Monday. I might get some volume in this month yet. Peace.
