Scraped into double figures with a 10.4lbs loss.

Mon and Tues weren't 100%, but Weds onwards I was on <1000 calories per day with x3 moderate gym sessions. Going to 1500 calories next week and plan to do x4 higher intensity gym sessions, hope to be close to the 23 stone mark.

Keep up all the good work fatties.

Thats a sick loss Barry with your starting weight. vwp!!

Gonna try and find one of those signature ticker counter things where you can put on short term goals.

Well done fella, you are more than a third of the way to your target in week number 1.

Target for this thread yes, my real life target is a long way away, think i am a about a 1/13 of the way there at the minute. Took 9 yrs to get this way, not expecting an overnight fix. Lets gogogogogo. Looking forward to the journey ahead for all of us!

Lee - the OP needs to be updated. My aim was actually to get under 14st on the target date, so my original target weight loss was closer to 19-20lbs (I said 15lbs prior to putting 5lbs on over crimbo)
At rugby training with my son will sort when I get home mate

17 lbs this week.

The last couple of diets I lost 11-12 lbs first week, with nothing different, I can only put the extra down to how badly I was eating at Christmas.

I have relented in one area, I am allowing myself 1 can of coke zero each day.

First reward booked, a sports massage.

A reminder to others to keep my weight loss in context.  Anyone losing several pounds eating healthily has arguably had a better week than me.

Managed to figure out how to change the scales to st & lbs.

17st 11lbs

Happy with my week but know my figure is distorted. Hope to lose 2lbs next week after a big loss this week.

Whilst not being an official part of the thread, I'm pretty happy with a 4lb loss this week, when I'm still clearing up the xmas leftovers...

What I'm more happy about is my first bit of exercise this morning for the first time in about 4 months. Last year when I went through this I did workouts using EA Sports Active on PS3, which worked pretty well for me (time pressures preclude gym, frankly), did 4 workouts a week for about 15 weeks, then stopped before a holiday in September and didn't start again. So started up the 3 week program this morning, couldn't even complete the fitness test as my legs gave up, but got through the workout ok. It does start fairly gently, I did about 170 cals according to it. The final sessions in the 9 week program top out at about 500cals for me (1/2 that for the wife, but she's <1/2 my weight), so really quite gentle. Planning on carrying on the 4 times a week now, hopefully I'll stick to it.

Does anybody else use non-gym workout methods? Curious.

Almost certainly wont be I am afraid mate - got an afternoon of footy with the lads then actually playing online poker for a change from 5pm.

I will be going first thing tomorrow, but it will be a short session as I I have a hectic work day, got a personal training session tuesday morning - but the rest of the week is wide open - I'll buzz you.
