Craving to stuff my face with shit today for some reason, won't do it obv but this is a gentle reminder that I will deffo have some bad days ahead. Probably not in the next week or even two but after that probably.

whenever i drive by a mcdonalds or look at chocolate in the shop i just say to myself 'Vegas' and imagine myself being my ideal weight by December when il be taking my first trip to Vegas.

Working for me so far.

sounds like everyone's doing really well, good going guys. for week one i didn't change a thing with my diet just did exercise every day. 2 days weights rest 16 mile cycle. lost 2 lbs according to the scales, think there's a lot of variance in weighing yourself but whatever it's a boost to see the number go down i suppose. anyway for week 2 i will be keeping up the exercise and trying to eat 2500 cals a day or less. prob gonna have to nit up this thread with what i eat every day to keep on track.

Weighed in for the first time today at 15st5.2lb which is just shy of a 5lb lose this week which I'm really really happy with and is a massive incentive to keep this up.

I've just logged the day off and it says 'if you keep this up for 5 weeks you will weigh xxxx lbs'. Great little motivational tool as well as calorie tracker.  thumbs up

Love that app! Thanks for posting it.

I'm pretty much having 1400 calories per day during the week. Not going to keep posting my food diary as its the same everyday.

What I'm really pleased about is how I'm not hungry all the time. With a good breakfast and fruit throughout the day I'm never 'starving' which really helps as normally I starve and binge.

I miss crisps the most but replaced them with a cup a soup which I also really like.

Desperate to lose 5st as everybody at work thinks I will fail and other people I tell who are more polite think I will struggle!

so today i ate 2219 kcals did some weights and a 3 mile jog/walk thing. apparently if i stayed in bed all day i would burn 2000 so i'm pretty sure i'm running at a deficit but probably not a big one. i'll be happy to lose another couple of pounds this week then reduce my calories a bit more. think if i try to cut down too quick it would be hard to keep it going.

Also bought a little kitchen weighing scale yesterday for measuring out portions. Reckon I was eating 50-100% more than the 40gm example for calories they use on the side of cereal packets, should be useful to make sure I keep my portion size in check and calculate calories better.

I used to over-estimate portion sizes all the time, specially with cereals.

Once you've weighed them once, use a bowl with a pattern and fill to the required depth. Saves weighing every time.

Also it is remarkable how less hungry you realise you were when you do it for a while. I have been eating less bread, and when I do eat bread, it is one of those smaller 2/3 sized loafs. I thought it would be too small, but so far, not noticed a difference.

Got my personal trainer tomoz so gonna smash fuck out of the pads with 30min boxing. will do 30 mins on treadmill as a warm up so hoping to do 3.2km(2 mile) in 30 minutes. im currently 2 mins off that pace.

How's everyone else getting on? Been a little quiet on here today.
