This might have been mentioned already but I've just noticed I have a free £10 bet in my Will Hill account. I assume this is because I had a tenner on that Sir Des Champs priority price, then it came second to the favourite Bobs Worth. Has Fred got this too?

Why is Gus Poyet being quoted @ 1/10 to be the next Reading manager?

Has he fallen out with Tony Bloom or have I been asleep and missed something?

Because Skybet are a complete joke.

If they think he's 1/10 to take the Reading job, why wouldn't they lay 6/1 he doesn't?

They should be forced to lay both sides of their ridiculous transfer/manager odds.

Creating a story on a very quiet Wednesday.

Shame he's not 1/10, if you're confident he won't leave Brighton you can punt anyone else you fancy at a decent price.

Yep, was probably a bit harsh in this case but I'd been reading Skybet's name repeatedly quoted in "news" stories around the internet about Poyet going to Reading.

I have no inside info and I have no clue who will get the job.

I do know I would have had a treble maximum on Poyet not getting the job at 6/1 when Skybet were quoting 1/10 he did.

If bookmakers were forced to lay both sides of a prop like this, their odds would be a great deal more realistic.

Carlsen drew today, which is fine. Aronian is fighting to save the game against Kramnik and that would be very interesting, as a win for Kramnik means our man goes half a point clear in the lead.

Small edges and all that.
