The new, catchily named, Deputy Governor of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England is expected to be announced in thenext couple of days.

If anyone spots who gets the job, feel free to pipe up.

As a reminder, Fred has been force-tiddled on Lucrezia Reichlin.

Hills are 33/1 Tiger Roll for the champion hurdle 2015.  Absolutely sure that is a good use of a free bet.  Horse very inexperienced and won that well.  Can somebody kick Tikay fast.

Bump for Tikay.

Done, details to follow.

Could details follow please?

Yup, this was a £25 FREE BET

A few bookies doing books on the Irish Open. You can get 200/1 on Mr Channing (and paddy doing each way top four), which is a bigger price than Greg Raymer (150/1) but not as big as Toby Lewis (225/1). It's the same as TJ Cloutier.

No doubt it's a 500% book, but do enjoy seeing the markets for these events.

The Sherwood boggle game team selector has thrown up the following team:

Lloris; Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose; Sandro; Townsend, Bentaleb, Eriksen, Chadli; Adebayor.

Best be attacking with that team because it can't defend. Might want to back the overs.

I'll see you in a few days.

Hate when I am in the opposite side of the coin from the pros on here who's opinions I value but I thought Liverpool were too big at 2/1.

This Man U team is average at best, still plays with a lack of confidence and the market is priced up on past victories over Liverpool.

I think the key to this game will be middle to front and back to middle and Liverpool win this match bet for me all day long.  I expect Gerrard, Allen and Henderson to bully United in the middle.  The one weak link for me in the Liverpool side is Johnson playing left back.  He''s far better on the right.

Going forward I think leaving Coutinho out (who is a class act) will benefit Liverpool.  He's some times too ponderous and not direct enough imo.  Think the English game is a bit fast for him.

Good call.  I couldn't have got this one more wrong.

Cheers!

T'was a big result for me that.  I had a little touch on a red card as well which made up for Evra not been booked.  The match worked out pretty much as I expected and was so glad Rodgers switched his full backs.

Flanagan surly has to be in with a chance of going to Brazil.

I can't imagine The Honourable Grumpy ever being good enough to win an Irish Open, surely?

Apparently he won it a few years ago. Think it was back when they voted on the winner.

So Arizona lost a close one last night and UCLA are Pac 12 champions. ESPN analysts still have us getting a #1 seed though.
the draw for the NCAA's is tonight at 10 I shall report on the draw for us hopefully we can dodge some of the better 2,3 & 4 seeds.
