By the way, in my league 2 research (watching the football league show on iplayer :-) ) this pm...
Jack Payne, won the penalty for southend's first goal (through on the keeper), assisted the second goal, scored the third goal on Saturday
and we were on FGS at 20-1
think we are 0 for 3 now, but he looks very decent on a limited viewing

Some late pre-race bets, hope you guys get on in time!
Top 6 Finish: Felipe Massa @ EVS - 11/8 with Betfair Sportsbook. Very good price on this, he has been quick all weekend. Recommend £10.
Group C (SUT/GUT/MAL/GRO): Esteban Gutierrez @ 5/2 with Bet Victor. Similar to above really. Sauber is quicker than Lotus, and Gutierrez has been quicker than his team mate all weekend. My one concern would be if he has the endurance to last the race distance without making an error, this track is the most physically demanding of the season. Worth it at this price though. Recommend £5.
missed these sorry.
one out of two!
Ahh that's a shame, would have put us in profit this weekend!
Never mind though, I have to accept some blame for posting the bets late

He is a class act, still a little raw as you would expect of a 19 year old, reminds me a little of Jack Wilshere. Would be surprised if he is still a Southend player next year.
Would expect the books to catch on to him soon and will be pleasantly surprised if he is still priced at 20-1 over the coming weeks. Very frustrating that the market will likely correct whilst we have still done our money.

Looked like he tried to get the ball to take the penalty but got overruled?
Poshies would prob sign him but we've already got one Jack Payne. If this one's as good as ours, yba.

Wonder who is on the Wigan pens tonight? For some reason Ramis took and missed the last one got a feeling Rosler might choose Forshaw who took them for him at Brentford
If he does 20's on the machine is fair

You been at the WKDs Jaffa?
Not at all mate, just spent a lot of time getting exact facts for that OP, when I basically knew them as a Newcastle fan and had had my own personal bet already on the back of them. Knew that writing generic stuff like "these guys don't score many goals" isn't enough for the great and good of TfT so spent half an hour collating facts to make a proper post, that was blanked by the clique, when my man scores twice to become top scorer it was ignored and the repost was ignored too. I'll spend me half hour looking at pictures of Steve Bruce at weddings in future

Yes he certainly seemed like he wanted it, and i definitely would not have had Weston down to take it. Frustrating, although to be fair, him taking a penalty never came into my thinking, but with our usual pen takers Corr/Barnard not playing and the fact Payne was the only one on the pitch who had netted in the penalty shoot out defeat at WImbledon, in hindsight i would have made him odds on to take it.
Well if he turns out like Assombalonga who we had on loan, will certainly be a useful asset.

Ty Tighty
I hope you manage to remember my original post despite a picture of Steve Bruce crammed into a wedding pic in a separate post from a twitter account that wasn't around a few months back distracts you

Jets number 1 run offense and run defense in football through 2 weeks
in particular run defense and scheme is brutal (Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson). Tough to see Chicago doing much through the ground
Jets will have to blitz a lot to knock Cutler out of stride because they do not match up well in the secondary and Marshall/Jeffrey should have big nights otherwise
the Jets are first running the ball, averaging 179 rushing yards per game. They have great success running the ball right up the middle behind Mangold. Bears are lightwight on the defensive front, Stephen Paea pass rushes but doesn't stop the run well
the Jets running game splits Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson. Ivory is the better back. He's made 15 defenders miss in two games, Johnson only 2
Ivory week 1 100+ yds vs Oakland 10 carries, wk 2 40+ vs Green Bay 13 carries
Johnson 68 on 13 carries, 21 on 12 carries in the two games
Ivory should go over quotes around 60 yards
http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/chicago-bears-at-new-york-jets/total-rushing-yds-chris-ivory
He's also 9-1 first TD but here you do have the risk that the Bears can go high octane and score out of the blocks
