Tighty,

Fred is on Sunderland to finish bottom @ 10/1.

Can you ask the bookie if he intends to be nice, & pay out early, like a good bookie would?

Sharp today, Tighty, especially after that result against Team Sanchez.

gave it a good go for the first half. far too open though, became like a training ground game. jumpers for goalposts, your turn to attack..

7 goals in the game. spread bet fun for some.

At half time, Newcastle lead Chelsea 1-0.

Thoroughly deserved too but they'e penned in and under the cosh this half.

Aston Villa at Liverpool

Liverpool 8/15

really?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/liverpool-v-aston-villa/winner

any thoughts welcome

Yeah, we've been here before. Pool have something ridiculous like 20 points from their last 18 games. Pool under priced on reputation imo and it may go on for a while yet.
I suggest laying Pool.

Looks completely right.  Thread must have a terrible record laying Liverpool tho?

West Ham 11/8 at home to Norwich
Southampton evens at home to Swansea.

At least one of those must be wrong too?  I have gone for the top one.  The price suggests those two teams are evenly matched.

What happened to Arbboy?  Is he all over Stoke too?

No idea, he has been online most days, but not posted much at all this week.

On holiday next two weeks in Cyprus. Reading when I get chance.  What insane price did Stoke go off today? Assume it was a stupid price that I missed. I can't believe people are asking for 9/2 Stoke to go down for decent money on the machine,  looks an incredible lay to me. Already broke to no betting for two weeks on holiday rule I agreed with the missus laying that tonight

Pre-race bet suggestions:

Race Winner: Lewis Hamilton @ EVS with pretty much everyone. We're already on this bet, but EVS, even from P2, is huge! I'd say this is a £50 bet. Probably more actually, but I'm not comfortable recommending a bet over £50 at this stage.

Group C (GRO/PER/MAL/HUL): Sergio Perez @ 6/4 with 365. He should be the favourite in this group, suggest £15.

Group D (SAI/VER/ERI/NAS): Carlos Sainz @ 5/6 with 365. Sauber aren't a threat in this group at all, and with five cars between Sainz and his team mate, the price shouldn't be this high. Suggest £15.

Careful with the first one, Peter. One bookie getting it wrong is common, two or three possible, but all of them is rare. You may well still be right but don't empty the clip.

Just got in and catching up on the news that Callum Wilson has almost certainly got a serious knee injury. If he's out for months, then that is a huge blow for Bournemouth. That's 3 key players out already this season.
Given the loss today, I was surprised to still see 4/1 for relegation with Ladbrokes...any thoughts ?

Anyone know what price Stoke went off today? Assuming it was 2/1+ given their spin quote for their season points after today.  They have probably got very close to their expected point total so far given their games yet are quoted at an incredibly low 41 points for the season.  Take out the 9 man freak show effort at home to wba and they would be comfortably in mid table totally in Line with expectation. Don't want to come across as bias but I am really struggling to see how Stoke are the fourth worst team in the epl at the end of the season given shawcross is close to returning.  I actually think given the run of fixtures we have started with alongside the injuries and bedding in new players six points from seven games given the wba 2 reds in the first half hour one off freak show is very reasonable.

lolbrokes have Stoke at 9/4 to go down,  once they put up their to stay up prices ( the inverse of the relegation prices to 108% in their standard two way match odds) I would expect to see 2/7 Stoke stay up - effectively laying Stoke at 7/2 to go down.  This is max bet material,

If you add this onto my previous post it just makes it stronger,  Bournemouth are massively. Under the cosh IMO with these injuries.
