Why is Kevin Cadle not Presenting the NFL coverage?
has been missing for a month. Assume he has blotted his copybook with sky? The coverage misses him and I never thought it would

Really does miss him. Even Jim White would be better than this.

The young lady standing in for him seems to be a little out of her depth, some how she does not seem to suit the show format.
People may dislike Cadle, but he did seem to have a level of understanding, and was able to throw good questions to Neil and the pundits.

Thought it always came across as a boys banter show.
The new lady surely makes it more accessible to a general audience.
The three behind the desk are probably the combination I like the most though.

Jeff Reinbolt is excellent. No dumbing down but still does it in a way you can follow.

Mother fatcat said "Why is she on there, she seems to know nothing" about that presenter. She is poor, I love Cadle!!
Reinbold is superb, really like the way he does his job.

Not sure if you guys realise some facts about Cadle. He is the greatest British basketball coach in history by a mile. He coached Kingston in the late 80s in the British bball league. He won the lot numerous times. Cadle has released a book recently about motivational speaking. I assume he has had a month off to promote this. I don't think he has had a month off sky for any other reason.
I personally think Cadle is a great multi sport USA sport presenter. NFL is clearly his second sport. He is an NBA specialist first before the NFL. He clearly knows the nfl very well for a 2nd sport. Sky have lost the nba to bt sport so he has a big fat sky contract to literally do the nfl 20 sundays a year. Nice life.
FWIW i have no idea who the lady is who replaced Cadle for a month but i think she has been really good.

Wimbledon fan...thoughts on Jake Reeves? Apparently he is on the Poshie radar.
Tottingham fans...David Pleat raving about Chris Forrester, will be another Dele Alli, but you can't have him till the summer ta.
Also, what did Mark Lawrenson just call Steven Pienaar?

That's one way to lose a bet!
The opening kick off was returned 105 yards for a Kansas City touchdown
I had a ten second sweat at least....DOH!

The guys bantering instead of actual analysis and insight is something that really grates with me for sports coverage - all sports, not just NFL. Thought Dara Kennedy did fine, not outstanding but nothing terrible and bonus for diluting some of the banter. These days it is way better than when Nick Hailing was on the panel. He seems like a marmite kind of guy and I couldn't stand him!

I don't mind some banter, but it's all about balance IMO, and previously they weren't always getting it right.
Ms Kennedy gives them some front of camera skills. She's new though, so got to give her time to get it nail it completely.
The show has moved on over the last year or two, with better visual stuff for analysis, therefore improving the quality of personnel seems a good next step.

Some Big bash bet at real bookmakers this time
Boyce to beat hogg. We did Rashid to beat Hogg, Boyce was only a push against Faulkner but no reason not to be keen on Boyce again today. He had an off-day last time, striving too hard for wickets due to having a low total to defend. He has 10 wickets in 6 games, taking at least a wicket in 5 of those games. Hoggy has 3 wickets from his 6 games, with 4 games where he failed to take a wicket. Same theory, Boyce is used as an attacking bowler, Hogg is used to dry the runs up with being much of a threat, as the stats show. Can't find an oddschecker link, bet is with Korral, 4/5.
In the Sixers v Heat game I can't have Bollinger being put up against Cutting here. They basically don't know who the Heat will pick as a bowler so picked Cutting for this market as they know he'll definitely play. Bollinger is a strong new ball bowler, tons of experience, used to be a international quick for Australia. Cutting is a 2nd/3rd change seamer for a side who have taken the fewest wickets in the competition so far. They've bowled a similar amount of overs, Bollinger has less wickets than I'd expected (just the 5) but Cutting has taken only 2 all season. Bollinger bowls up front with the new ball, so has the chance to sneak a few early ones, then will come back at the death. Cutting is just trying to get a few overs in whilst the batsman are setting themselves for the late burst, doesn't have any decent variety and has regressed as a bowler as his batting has become more of a focus. They are chalk and cheese when it comes to bowling ability, Bollinger is 4/5 with Korral also. Again no link is up at the moment, sorry.
Morning Nelly, Fred missed this, but hopefully a few got on.
Anyway, I'm watching the Heat game now, they are 39/2 after 5, so fingers crossed they take another beating.

no worries, boyce v hogg was a push anyway. only 11 wickets in the game so the under 13.5 wickets bet would have been a cop if anyone was on that.
Yeh, heat under the pump here, main man Lynn already gone, so good start for The Sixers.

Big bash - Heat got 162-8, fell away at the end. Bollinger 1 wicket. Going into the game The Heat had scored the most runs in the tournament, despite being bottom. They are bottom because their bowling has been woeful, so 163 is do-able for the Sixers even with Maddinson out injured.
