Morning Tighty.
In recent weeks we have backed Andy Murray to beat Nadal and Djokovic when he was the under dog. Today he is favourite to beat Wawrinka and I think that is wrong. Wawrinka has won all 3 times they have met on clay, although none have been recent and Murray has changed his game a lot. But Wawrinka is the defending champion, completely outplayed Djokovic here last year, and he has looked the best player, to me anyway, this year. As long as he is mentally OK, never a certainty for Wawrinka, then I expect a 4 or 5 set win.
Suggest £20 Wawrinka @ 6/5 with Betvictor or Paddy Power
Stan Wawrinka Stan Wawrinka v Andy Murray Winner
6/5
Total Stake: £20.00
Potential Returns: £44.00

Can't blame Coral for being careful. Tinpot race round a gaff track after all.

Architecture now 16/1 with Corals for those not on yet. Not sure why as betfair hasnt chamged much. Beats betfair on win and place. They didn't lay me much, as I must be at my limit.

Think it would depend on the odds you took.
Edit. Should compare with betfair rather than sp.

It didn't win so I made the right decision cashing out
The ev of the win bet is unaffected I believe (otbe). But the e/w part is decimated.
Bet placed at 7/1, was 4/1 at the off. The place was evens on betfair for 3 which I would now be getting for 2 so think cash out is correct.

Sorry a bit too late, but for the future, you can work out the value of what you have with this each-way calculator - you can use the betfair 2 place market in the "place odds" field, (it should be liquid enough close to the race) and remember to deduct a rule 4 if applicable to get the right odds for the "bookmakers win odds" field.

If you have backed a horse at 7/1 and it is still 7/1 on betfair, I'd be cashing out. If it was 4/1 on betfair, I'd say that cashing out would likely be bad.

How big was the rule4 for Arod?
