http://www.espn.co.uk/nba/story/_/id/21618206/nba-schedule-alert-20-games-tired-teams-lose-december

This is an interesting article espn do each month with the toughest schedules facing nba teams.  Tonight has 2 of them including a very brutal scheduling spot for the Suns and the Raptors are as rested as you can possibly be in the middle of an NBA season.

This could be a serious blow out game where the Suns just totally write it off and get properly blown out.

Hcap -13 is big but probably not big enough in this spot.  Worth a bet i would imagine.

I'm not sure how much bluffing Pep is doing when it comes to team selection for tomorrow night. All the noises, at least publicly, is that we're going to Ukraine to win. However much he wants to win the game, there is no getting away from the derby looming on Sunday.

The whole squad (less KDB and Merlin) have travelled, but we are out there for 4 days so everyone can train together as normal in preparation for the weekend. We don't have a big enough squad to just play fringe players and kids, so expect some of our big(ger) hitters to start alongside the likes of Yaya, Bravo and Mangala et al.

A draw suits Shakhtar quite nicely and ensures that Napoli can't finish above them. A draw (assuming no injuries) suits City in terms of keeping the unbeaten run going and carries the momentum onto Sunday. Currently best price 9/4....not a rec but perhaps worth keeping an eye on. Team news should drop about half 6/7 tomorrow (kick off is 9.45 local time ffs)

Moeen Ali Under (105.5)    5/6
Total stake: 30.00
Potential returns: 55.00

pp

0 wickets for Moeen in the 1st innings, took a catch though

so far he scored 25 and took 1 catch, so he's on 35 performance points. Yet to bowl in the Aussie 2nd innings. as it's doing plenty for the seamers. So far, so good.

Another catch (just 3rd time in 46 tests he's taken 2 catches in a game ), no wickets again though so 45 PP. We have 60 runs to play with. Moeen possibly gets moved down to number 8 in the order now Woakes is in as a night-watchman.

scored just 2 in the final innings, so only 47 PP for the match.

Word is Foden starts, a smattering of first teamers and then the rest will be made up of subs and fringe players (Bernardo, Danilo, Yaya etc).

It's gonna be a makeshift team, and though there will be some talented individuals on show, it could well be disjointed without Silva and KDB pulling the strings. Shakhtar are no mugs whatsoever and gave us a very good game at Eastlands. I believe its their last game before the winter break and they need a positive result to ensure qualification.

Hope I'm wrong Smiley but rec £25 on Shahktar at 11/5 (everyday, bald) I feel this price is only gonna tumble the closer we get to kick off.

Spurs will have a middle strength team against Apoel Nicosia. One well placed blogger reckons it'll look like this:

We've not exactly been prolific of late, or against weak sides at home. This is a "don't get injured" game for a few. Dele we know starts, and the defence looks highly likely to be accurate. Nkoudou might feature in that midfield, if we were to go to a flat 442.

Apoel know that a result tonight could get them third, with Dortmund facing Real Madrid.

Apoel are 11/1 with Ye Olde BetFayre Book of Sports. That's not appealing. I'd want more than that.

Quite like the draw at 5/1 with the same outfit.

Laying spurs on the exchange at 1.37 is essentially the same thing, so no value there.

Under 2.5 goals is a nice price at 29/20 with the sportsbook. Look for a cagey start on a cold winter's night.

Vorm (C)

Aurier, Sanchez, Foyth, Rose,

Winks,

Sissoko, Dele, Nkoudou,

Son, Llorente

Three defenders on the bench. Sterling the only attacker on the bench.

I'd say this makes for a live bet on the unders.

Quick Wichita State update. The Shockers moved to 7-1 with a come-from-behind victory over South Dakota State yesterday. Landry Shamet lead the way with 21 points and 8 assists but production was spread around as always, and with their best player still to return (Markis McDuffie), signs look good that we're going to getting a proper sweat come March.

Going along nicely then.

Thanks for the update, keep them coming please.

The mighty Poshies through to the last 16 of the EFL jokepot. We're on at 33-1.

Not 100% but heard the next round remains regional, so we can't draw the Leicester Globetrotters and their £46m worth of talent they had on display at Scunthorpe.
