A question for kmac, I am almost certainly voting yes, I'm a rangers supporter ( not a bigot, reliigious  what so ever) do you see some  left wing future for Scotland , because the way you are portraying this referendum it has some deeper rooted issues for you ?

That would be my hope but the SNP aren't going to deliver a socialist utopia.   I would settle for the people of Scotland getting the government the majority of us vote for, one which has the Scottish people at its heart and one that makes decisions based on the needs of the many and not the wants of a few.

I don'tsee why you brought what team you support into the thread though.  Its not about football, religion or any of the other baggage Scotland already has to carry.  Its about creating a prosperous future for all the people who live in our country and call it home, that even includes the naysayers!  The ones that want to stay that is and don't want me sending the removal van on Friday :-)

You mellowing in your old age? Lol

Was all through Edinburgh today, very little visible from the houses. Leith seemed a bit more decorated. Surprised expected a blanket of signs both ways.

Missed the debate but read the brief, sounded fairly bland.

Mickyp, can we still win your vote? What's the key issues for you?

http://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-politics/scottish-independence/independent-scotlands-credit-rating

only 16% likely the scots get a triple AAA credit rating if yes wins according to the bookies.

Been a quiet day up here. I can't see much major coming out now. Apart from the sun backing which could go either way. Shouldn't mean anything but it probs does! Heard of another Scottish family business writing to all staff. That's 2 of the ones I deal with now. Think it will come down to turnout, the undecideds and last minute mind changes.

Do they announce results as they come or is it literally just one announcement when it is all done? That's gonna be pretty shit viewing but will watch regardless.

My neighbours have been hit with a court injunction and must remove the "yes" sign!! A bit of a shame, i certainly did not prompt that.  I just found it funny!

The country is split into 32 counting areas and they each announce their results as they go along, probably starting at about 2am. It'll probably be 7am before all the results are in.

I'd guess the rating is how strong the Yes vote is expected to be in that region.

they will update the totals and the projections too
they will have exit polls ready to digest  from the minute the polls close
then as results come in they will adjust everything

i got one thing last thing to say to all the people who have a vote on Thursday

For what seems an absolute age politicians, celebs, family members and friends have all been offering views on what will be a historic day on thursday. I am not going to do that my vote is between me and the ballot box.
But i have one thing to say on the matter, forget what anyone tells you to do make your own mind up vote with your head or your heart for yes or for no, or even if your inclined spoil your paper, BUT THE ONE THING YOU MUST DO IS VOTE.

ps thats not just for arbboy 80% vote bet
