Next season will probably have some major squad changes.... Cazorla might have played his last.

I don't mind Ramsey, Walcott, Gibbs and Ox staying but they should firmly be back up options. Really we need additions in CM who'll give us the sort of creativity sorely missed from Cazorla this season. If we line up something like this...

Cech
Bellerin Kos Mustafi Monreal
Xhaka New CM
Perez Ozil Sanchez
Welbeck

Then i really see us challenging for something next season without a major overhaul. The lack of a solid CM partnership has cost us dearly though, and i think we need someone to complement Xhaka as he finally brings a few of the qualities Arsenal have been lacking since Viera left.

You can't have Wellbeck leading the line and expect to win anything surely?

More beautifully constructed words of wisdom from Tim Stillman:

Didn't think Liverpool really got out of 2nd gear in the first half. It was too good for the Arse though. 2/10

Leaving out Sanchez after a 12 day break? (and he had been on the bench for two games previous in the cups)

that is tough to jusify isn't it?

In a team shorn of it's most creative players, leaving out Sanchez was inexplicable I think - also, whilst I often think he's a bit headless, he is creative and something of a leader.

Still, it's a really sub par Liverpool at the moment and we should have had enough to be competitive in the first half and we weren't close to being so. I don't mind losing but hate watching really crap performances - no real sign of playing good football for months now

Should have been the max bet of all max bets.  The flat track bullies who can't win when they are odds against v the scousers who only turn up against the big boys.  If only the two teams could merge they could put their long suffering fans out of their misery.

After enjoying keeping our players for the last few years it's going to suck so much to see Sanchez leave this summer.

After Ian Wright saying that Wenger told him he was leaving, he now says if he was Sanchez, he'd want to leave;
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39177358
He's a great fan, isn't he?

I presume Arsenal fans wouldn't be too upset at Ozil leaving? But Sanchez is the one, if he goes, Arsenal are in real trouble, aren't they?
Say they were both to leave, with 1 year left on their contracts, how much could Arsenal get for them? China would probably give silly money for them but I couldn't see either player wanting to go there just yet.

Arsene has said that Arsenal will decide when Sanchez leaves, even if that means not getting anything for him due to a contract expiring.

What is even more of a worry is if Ozil, Sanchez and Wenger leave after this season - could be tough times ahead for us.  I'd be hopeful that if Wenger goes, we'd be able to keep Sanchez.

Probably just fighting talk to ensure we get a reasonable price for him this summer. I mean if Sterling wanted away and was supposedly still worth 50m even taking the English factor into consideration Sanchez is worth closer to 70m.
