Apparently if Sanchez goes they will "bid" for Draxler... of course they will

Arsenal - ''we don't have any more money for major signings''

Arsenal offer £92m for Lemar.

Gotta love deadline day Smiley

Another great statement from them.  No cash only offers for Sanchez will be considered.  Course they will if the mancs rock up with £80m in readies on your lawn you will snaffle it up instantly.

It's over

So Arsenal are burning £60 million, they've briefed against Sanchez (the players don't want him there etc), Sanchez and his team think the deal is done and won't be happy bunny if he has to return to Arsenal.....

Then add to that the comedy of errors bid for Lemar today.

Hilarious stuff really.

All perfectly poised for City to go back in with an increased bid....I'm ambivalent about it

For so many years I have been proud to be an Arsenal fan.

Now, not so much.

Just got back and I have half-a-dozen missed calls from an unknown number...

Arsenal come out of this so badly, comical stuff from north London.

We'll just have him for free in 10 months, no bother.

What's the general consensus about today/the summer window amongst Arsenal fans?

Wenger/the club are coming into fierce criticism over on Blue Moon haha I'm sure even Ralph can concede how amateurish it looks; all summer say he isn't for sale, to then accept an offer on deadline day only to back out as they don't have time to find a replacement. Well no shit Sherlock!

Looks an incred decision to keep an unhappy player you could've shifted for £60m, and now will see him 'play' (downed tools?) out his contract to leave on a free next summer. I know Wenger is stubborn but he's taken it to new levels lately.

Having a disinterested Sanchez really doesn't improve any prospects in the league IMO.

I hadn't read this before. but fascinating, how Arsenal is used as a guarantor to fund other parts of the Kroenke empire
