I think you’ve got a bit carried away with this, there must be better ways to entertain yourself. I haven’t mellowed, I’m just trying to find the best way to limit how much the trolls damage the debate.

It’s bizarre that you think me worthy of comment but Woodsey and his threats of violence (the high likelihood that he’s actually a physical coward, as well as a moral one, is noteworthy) just go by without comment from anyone.

On balance do you honestly think I was threatening you or just having a laugh? If you do I think you are probably the only one.....

For the record I will avoid scraps in real life where possible, but if push comes to shove I’ll do what I have to do.

I’m pretty relaxed about the threat directed at me, a mixture of not thinking it’s serious but more importantly doubting your capability to make good on it anyway. I think your response to the Will Self/Mark Francois clip is entirely ridiculous, you should be embarrassed.

The accusation of “mock outrage” is a bit harsh given how highly I value the honesty/integrity/accuracy of the political discussion but I will always be happy to explain/clarify my position on that.

I guess the issue is slightly confused by the fact that I don’t think criticising Woodsey’s posts/behaviour has much to do with politics and so it shouldn’t necessarily be subject to the same standards, maybe I’m wrong. If anyone has 3 minutes to read the last 4 pages of Woodsey’s posts please do.
