If you haven't already activated it I probably wouldn't unless you think your team really needs it, a secondary purpose of a wildcar dis to gain additional team value (buy players who are rising at the sart of the week, hope they go up 0.2 so you can sell them and make 0.1 before making your final selections), and you can't do that with only 1 day left before the gameweek ends (price rises happen once per night at circa 2.30am i believe). However this is just a secondary purpose the main reason is obviously to improve your team so if you really need to do that then fire away, also many players you might want will have risen in price by next week(likewise players you own falling in price) so if it means you'll lose alot of value by not wildcarding then it's probably best to use it. Again though this has more of an effect if wildcarding at the start of a gameweek as a player can only rise or fall once per day, though granted the majority of price changes/transfers happen on the eve of a gameweek.

Okay cool, ty for clarifying. My team as it stands is crap (I have never done FF before and picked my team when I was completely clueless as opposed to just almost completely clueless), so I am just going to go ahead with using the WC now I think.

BTW, this FF is really addictive isn't it? I am only in a couple of leagues and have no money at all on them. Yet I am already spending ages thinking about it! With my inclination to get obsessed with things, perhaps it might have been a good idea not to have got into this...

its nearly as additive as the NFL one i played them both for the first time last year and NFL one just pips the EPL one but i am always tinkering in both which isnt good

Not Tadic.

He isn't much of a goal threat, offers very little chance of scoring and seems to struggle with fitness so rarely plays the full 90. He has started poorly as well so always the chance of rotation.

Lots of better options in that price bracket - Chadli, Ritchie, Milner, Shaqiri etc.

He's got great numbers when he does play but yeah coming off after 45 doesn't bode well. Don't understand why milner is popular at all.

i have gone and used my wildcard put all my eggs into attacking the goals 32.5million for the front 3 with option to bring in lukaku 1/4 way into season when everton's fixtures ease

midfield i still managed 2 of the top 10 price wise along with marhrez morrison and westwood floating around

thought i would struggle in defence but still able to keep Azpilicueta and mertasaker and added richards for my 3 starting defenders all 5 have started and will likely start each week

lets see if i can hit some goals

So what was the final outcome for the decision on prizes in the £100 blonde league?

I think the final outcome was that no one was really bothered. I wanted as flat a payout as possible to get as many punters paid but I guess 3/11 is too high.
We'll go first 2 in that one, I guess. I think all the others were okay?
Junior hasn't been around and I just want to double check everything with him first but that's pretty much it I think.
