Just to clarify...I was joking.
Stabbing is bad, especially if you don't know the fella.

One incident I DID personally witness was between Mr Patten & Luke Smith.
Mr Patten Raises 12k in the SB, he has 300k of the 590k in play, Luke Smith moves all-in for about 40k.
Mr Patten (confusing, we have two Luke's here) asks the dealer for a count of Luke Smith's all-in. Dealer carefully counts it up. Mr Patten then says "Call" & slams his cards down with a flourish right in front of Luke. Two Aces......

i dont know how my name got involved here.
i set of to brighton ,but some one decided to hit my car on the a1 near granthem
had to settle for notts
this man is very out of order ,i cant beleive no one said anything to this man
doesnt matter how big this man is this is a game of poker
if i would have been on the table i would have said some thing whether it was a man
or woman who he said it to,
thats what is annoying, you get all these peope who play on the net @say all this
rubbish on line not realising that saying it live can get you into all sorts of problems .
i think personally its down to the sites for letting this happen on line ,
if this was stopped on line then perhaps it wouldnt happen live
as for this man he must feel so big insulting a women like this at a table ,
theres other ways of making people going on tilt .
iv seen this behavour happen twice before ,
ayoung lad in the vic last year insulted an older gent and was nearly strangled
when are people going to learn this is a gentlemans game
i can honestly say youll never hear me going over the top when i lose a hand

There is no Luke Patten Profile tomorrow. This week's show (the one we record tomorrow) will feature Dublin, Brighton will be next week. It will feature a Winner's interview, but no "Profile" as such.

Get him on Tikay, lets hear his side of the story.
This is better than EastEnders.

I think we should hear both sides of the story. Hopefully, he will join up to blonde, so we can have a more balanced debate on this.

Think Dave sums up the only appropriate response on the first page of this thread.
"whereas calling any female a fat c**t whilst I was at the table would prematurely end your evenings entertainment"
So beautifully written too :-)
But Dave's bigger than me and I might not quite have the balls to give the unpleasant chap an immediate physical reprimand.
But I'd have to say something and it wouldn't be the start of a polite chat about poker etiquette in an all-in situation.

I would like to apologise personally as people like this give poker a bad name. I have to say he would have been chinned if I heard such a thing to a young lady.
Actually annoyed me alot and I wasn't even there.
I have only played once live, and that was at brighton. I got started on in the lobby while I was with my missus. Wasn't impressed and he was thrown about 8 ft in the air over the 5 stairs that leads to the casino.
Id like to say sorry for this ass, whoever he may be.

ah just read the rest of the thread. Mr patten is the supposed culprit.
May your hands always be cack, and this incident doesn't just filter away.
It is plain and simple. This shouldn't be tolerated and why the hell didn't someone say something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
