As well as the new found morality, he also feels fear, loyalty, devastation at injury or death of people he's known no time at all. The character makes no sense at all. One minute he's a trained killer who can handle himself with a gun turret, blaster, and even take on a Sith Lord with a light Sable (that was particularly stupid) but the next he's a rookie reluctant soldier transferred from a sanitation post on the Death Star.

Was disappointed he survived the battle with Kylo Ren.

Think he's gonna be revealed later that he can use the force otherwise him fending off Kylo with the sabre is ridiculous.  Would also explain why the stormtrooper brainwashing techniques didnt work on him.

Overall I enjoyed it, dont really wanna rate it coz Im overly biased towards and didnt even hate eps 1-3.  Lots of unanswered questions arising from it to build anticipation for the next ones.

All the fights were really, really good. And I had worked myself into a frenzy for the main event. Then that happened Sad

I feel like I've had amazing sex but a really crap orgasm.

I mean, delighted McGregor won... but I wanted to see a fight. Wtf was Aldo doing?

Does he normally act like that before a fight? Seemed very introvert, head down all the time, didn't look at Conor even when face to face. Not seen Aldo fight (live) before, just seemed strange tha he didn't portray a lot more confidence, even standing up straight looking focussed might have helped. Thought he acted abit like my son does when he doesn't want to do something. Suppose it's easy to say sitting on the sofa.

I did wonder, as I hadn't seen Aldo fight all that many times, but saw Rogan chatting with fans on Twitter, and he said that it's what Aldo has always done.

Novia Uno 1-7 since stricter drug test regulations introduced to UFC.  Although Aldo says he wants a rematch I dont think he'll show up for another one.

anywhere else i am missing ?

lol yeah they never have events in the north either.  Highlands etc

I think a big part of their problem is having so many stops in cities that people just don't really want to travel to. Surprised there's no £440 in Newcastle

Easily Ronaldo!

He might be a few years older but we are looking to win now, not build a team for the future and right now Ronaldo is a better player and a better athlete and going by recent history will be fit for more of the season than Bale.

Also I think if you're in win now mode, having Ronaldo makes Man U more attractive for other stars players looking to win now than Bale would

Same thing happened to me at UKIPT/Estrellas Marbella this year.  Got KK in against locals AA middle of day 1 and the 7 spanish guys at the table were all standing up cheering/fist pumping and high 5ing each other.  I find the Spanish players so absurdly rude.

Dont mind the rematch, I think Ronda has been told so often that her striking is top class without really having it tested that she got stubborn and wanted to box with the boxer.  In a rematch I can see her getting back to basics and pushing hard for a takedown and maybe not just immediately go for an armbar.

I dont think she will but Rousey should get rid of her coach and upgrade, he has helped her work on something that she was a complete beginner at but all he's been doing is feeding her ego and it has led to being knocked out like this.  After the 1st round he shouldve been telling her to keep her distance and clinch.  He told her she was doing great and she was a bull in a china shop just charging in and windmilling.

Great performance by Holm, just before the KO she ducked under a punch and made Rousey look really stupid.  Division very open now, Id think Tate must feel like she has a shot against Holm and its probably a better matchup for Pena than Rousey was.

Andrew Feldman last seen working in John Lewis last Christmas (Not a level).

No fkn way?!

Dunno how he can work for £7ph or whatever they pay, his days pay will be smaller than the BB in the games he was playing.

Seen pics of him at uni getting involved with some of the clubs etc
69  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Official partypoker UK Software Bugs, Glitches & Improvements (to Rob) on: October 13, 2015, 06:20:54 PM
Tonight I busted a sat with a few seconds left of late-reg/re-entry, I got the popup asking if I want to re-enter but before I could click it (less than 5 seconds) we reached the end of the level and the popup disappeared and I couldnt re-enter.  Surely players should be getting a few seconds to click the button?

But at what point do you cut that off from?

If you start to give a little more time AFTER late reg has closed, then soon someone else will ask for a little more time again, and again, and again.

If late entry closes at 9pm (for example) then 9:00:01pm is too late

seems harsh, but thems the rules

Perhaps we should be asking for the software to work faster, i have noticed that the rebuy period for someone who is knocked out continues to run for the full amount of time, even if the player has opted not to rebuy. If the rebuy timer stopped as soon as the player clicks "no" that moght save a few seconds here and there (unless i am talking out of arse of course)

That is an absurd example, the popup flashed for 2 seconds, clearly not enough time for me to move my mouse over it and click.  If it happened last hand of rebuy period you get 10 seconds to rebuy before it goes to add-on period, if it was in a live tournament they have someone from the floor walk you to the desk to buyin.

Its not like I was eliminated, taken to the lobby and the button disappeared, I was still in my seat and a popup appeared asking if I would like to re-enter.  10 seconds to actually react to it isnt a ridiculous request imo

Think the claim is Cech wasnt fully fit but couldve played if push came to shove.  Without that info people are wondering why get such a good goalkeeper when for years its been a problem position and leave him out of the big games.

For your teams situation it really depends, its not a professional team so there will be times players cant make training or even games.  If a guy shows up almost every week and has a good reason for missing a week then I think its harsh to leave him out of the team, especially if he is your best player.  If missing training is a regular occurrence, with or without a legit reason, then you need to have a think about how you want to manage the team and maintain discipline within the squad, what your goals and expectations are for the team and what is your motivation as manager.

Playing the best players even when they dont show up to training might lead to the better players also not showing to training when they dont feel like it, safe in the knowledge that they will still play on matchday and it can hurt morale amongst the squad for the guys that do show up every week and still dont play however the opposite approach might affect results and bad results bring along tons of other problems such as low morale/loss of confidence by the players and the manager, players losing interest or leaving to go to a more successful team etc

What do we think of Dustin Poirier at 2/1 against Joe "The last man to beat Conor McGregor" Duffy?

Seems like a pretty big price and im surprised Duffy is the fave in this fight.

Not much data to go on, Poirier had a very good record at 145 beofre moving up to 155 after the Mcgregor loss and has had 2 impressive 1st round KO's since the move up against average fighters.

Duffy took 3 years off MMA to work on his boxing/standup and is 4-0 on his return, all stoppages, 3x 1st round stoppages and 2-0 with 2 1st round stoppages since joining the UFC.  His level of competition looks to be below Poiriers for the last 2 fights but he does have home advantage with the fight being in Dublin.

Also quite like Cummins at 3.5-3.75 against Glover Texeira.  Pretty big price in fight terms, Glover obv has the edge standing and has way more experience but Cummins is such an elite wrestler I think it should be closer.  Also 2 fights ago Texeira lost to Phil Davis and we are told Cummins wrestler is on par/maybe better than his although his all around game isnt quite as good.
73  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: Roooooooney on: September 09, 2015, 02:30:21 PM
Don't really understand why people focus on Rooney being 29.  He has the miles on the clock of a player in his early/mid 30s given the amount of games he has played at the top level since a very early age in his career.  His performances naturally should be starting to regress given this mileage imo.  No point saying 'i got an 12 plate BMW with 350k miles on the clock'.  It is effectively the age of a 05 plate wear and tear wise.

I don't really buy into the fact he has under achieved either in his career.  He has played on a bang average England team which performed to it's level pretty much throughout his career (ie last 16 of major events - where they should finish).  He has won everything he can club wise with Manure.  He probably hasn't over achieved but pretty hard to say he has under achieved.

ITV put up a caption last night of all the teams he has scored against at international level.  There are not as many 'soft' goals as you would imagine in the list of teams either.  Numerous goals against the big international sides.

Did we see different captions?  Maybe around 7 goals were against teams Id say were top class.  The majority of the goals were scored against sides that have barely qualified for a major tournament in Rooneys lifetime between them and lots that never will in Rooneys lifetime.  Personally I think he really hasnt done it on the big stage and although he's had a good career at club level I think he's come nowhere near fulfilling the potential he showed when he broke through at Everton and in his early Man Utd days

I think Mcgregors ground game is underrated also just because he was held down by Mendes.  He seemed pretty comfortable in the transitions though and his roll to escape the guillotine attempt was pretty nice.  He's popped straight up from every other fighters takedown attempts and I think it would be the same if Aldo tried to take him down, Aldo just doesnt have the takedowns power as Mendes

So nobody should try to get better at poker so they dont make everyone else feel outclassed?
