I'm a little surprised that Tikay's not joining your gang as I'm sure he said that he used to be a real motorbike enthusiast.
I love this vid. I first saw it as a CH4 documentary about 20 years ago.
This will be the blonde bikers next year Ralph.

Have taken pictures but having looked at your bike i've realised that my point I was trying to make is of no use as you have one seat for both pillion and rider. Here's the tailpack I used when touring anyway.
Ah! Thanks Mr Mo. That pic has made everything much clearer.
To be fair, it looks ok on my phone, dunno why it's come out so small.
This is similar to what I have-

Well I'm happy that I got the MLC (Mid-Life Crisis) home the 60 miles from Glasgow today.
I had moments where I thought of chucking it - but then I made myself go for it and enjoyed it. I think the months from the CBT experience did weigh on my mind. Anyway 60 miles through Glasgow traffic then back roads then an a-road got me home. I'm taking tomorrow afternoon off and going out to practice, I'm going to get my proper motorbike licence before next Xmas!!
Another job ahead - digging out the camping gear from below the stairs at the parents' place

Wooo hooo! Well played Rod. The bike looks great too, did you have to ride it in the rain?

Yep - rain, wind (but only light) - getting on the main road was scary - but got up to 60 and did OK.
Pleased with myself, but a lot of gaining experience ahead...

I try to be super observant, looking for danger everywhere. Wet leaves, spilled diesel, car doors opening, pot-holes, boy-racers, Sunday drivers...
Great fun tho init?

The moments where I wasn't crapping it were amazing - In the wind I think the yanks call it. I'm loving it TBH.

It's the crapping it parts that make it amazing though. It's how I imagine pilots of light aircraft feel.

Aye, I get what you mean - you really feel your life is in your hands - that's not what you get in a car normally.
