Yes it was. That's just some image I found on google. The same kind of image was avilable in aces, kings and J4, but not queens.

Skip to 2.20 to see a sick fold.

Been a quiet week since the 6bet spack. Feels like nothing's going to top that for a while.

Played some PLO at Dusk on Wednesday. They're running what they're calling an "omaha night," with a play money table for those new to the game, and stakes starting as low as 50p/50p. A couple of tough holdem players - but giant omaha fish - assembled to play a £2/2 game. It was a pretty easy six handed affair, until Pete Linton sat down to my immediate left with £3k covering the whole table about twice. The game changed to a round of each with £2/5 holdem. I didn't bring enough money to play this game, and I didn't fancy being out of position to Pete in this particular game for the rest of the night playing sub-150bb with no reloads. So I moved over to the £1/1, stacked two players in the slowest game ever and called it a night. Won £200 or something.

Took the night off last night to play some chinese with a few friends, which turned into big two, which turned into 8-card hi-lo, which turned into flips. Fun night though. Figured it would be good to take a night off before the £2/5 tonight. Let's crush!

Had a really boring session on the 2/5 the other night. It was only ever going to be a spin until we hit a wall. Hit a wall earlier than expected but it was nice to get 8 hours in before dropping back down for another 1,000 or so.

Never got anything going really. Had aces once where I opened the cutoff, got a call from the small blind and Simon the limper peeled and we went three ways to the flop of . When Simon bets flop I should really know he has a set, but I peel because I think the small blind is going to raise here as a bluff a huge percentage of the time. He squeezed and Simon called pretty quickly so I binned it. Small blind instamucked at showdown.

Here's one, though. Alex described it as "a nice pot," but basically a number of things had to occur for him to win this pot; let's start from the beginning. The hand previous I flopped top two against Rich on two spades. I know I was going to get three streets from most of his range, so we bet the Two Clubs turn and the river, where he instantly moved in for another 70% or so. So event #1 was it had to not come this exact board run out, otherwise I call and I'm good and have a ton of money in front of me, or I call and he had me crushed off the flop and I have no money in front of me. So I'm sat with £480, about the only stack within 10% I go broke with here. Alex opens to £20, I 3bet Ah to £65 and he peels. Here's where events #2-4 occur. I has to nail my hand, his hand and come a two-tone board for him to get the lot, but it's Alex and nothing is impossible. three diamonds gets the job done. The three paired on the turn so we had some outs, but it was not to be. Sad

Then I got Mitch'd when I stuck it in pre with KK against TT with a £175 overlay, and he pinged a tenball on the river. Not played with him for a while so I forgot about his incredible ability to make sets in giant pots. Nevermind. I'll grind it all back incredibly slowly at 50/1 tonight at Gala.

Surely this moaning about me getting lucky on you is meant to be ironic in some bizarre way after the old J4o>>QQ aip for 250bbs each?

And I don't see how £480 is "about the only stack you go broke with", If you're sat with 2k, I still win 3 streets off you, which in a 3bet pot and given I'm c/raising the flop and bomb/bombing any runout will probably mean more than £480 anyway. It's not like you're going to be folding TPTK in a 3bet pot on A73 anytime soon, certainly not the times where the FD bricks.

If it's moaning, it's definitely ironic.

Could be that I'm just posting a TR and not actually moaning at all.

Not sure yet.
