Mumbai currently choking versus KKR in a  crucial match I am afraid

How did that end up, Tighty? We still got a chance, or will they need to do a touch of spotting?

They lost chasing 140

1 game to go, and they might need to win it to reach the semi's, if RCB win their game in hand

1   DD   14   +0.715   20
2   KKR   15   +0.478   19
3   MI   15   -0.160   18
4   CSK   15   +0.214   17
5   RCB   14   -0.072   15
6   RR   14   +0.335   14
7   KXIP   14   -0.293   14
8   PWI   15   -0.477   8
9   DC   14   -0.680   5

I thought you suggested recently that Mumbai were, ahem, "certain" to qualify. In which case, I'm very relaxed about this.  We cannot lose.

Get it on...

Warming you up for some three-way hopping  eight dice-tastrophe's in the Rio.

God help us all.

Have YOU laid those ESC things?

I haven't, but I will have the same bet if that makes a difference.  Laying at 1.17 isn't much of a knee-trembler.  And $400 at risk with a view to trade isn't as volatile as many smaller bets you have made with no intention/opportunity to bail.

£, not $!

Tighty, Windies fall of first wicket under 22.5 looks good if they get put into Bat this morning?

Come on Tighty, give us your take, fingers are poised, betting boots are duly donned......

Presumably, if this is a goer, we have to await the outcome of the toss. Which is at what time, please.....?

It should be but a word of caution, the price is already low. 29-30 is a standard price, so they are the side you want to be in the pricing already

I also gather that the pitch is flat. England might bat if they win the toss. If so the 22.5 rises by the time the WI bat.

£, not $!

Force of habit.  The case for the defence:

1. Chompy is the only punter sad enough to research this crap.  If you'd seen him beg, wriggle and squirm all the way down the 17th fairway for a chop on a fiver like I had to, you'd realise what a nap this must be.
2. stupid bets to send you skint Novelty markets are where the value is at
3. You are extremely unlikely to lose anything like the full amount.  if you can have £200 on a premiership game, this should be a stroll.

no good to me but sportingbet appear to be set at 27.5 for windies first wicket

looks five to high to me

Thanks Rich.

I have my hands full today with this & that, so I may not be able to execute this one, but I'll keep a watching brief, & if you have further news, please let us know.

That "value" is irrespective of who bats first?

If England bat first, presumably we hold off until we see what the pitch is doing?

Game 2 San Antonio at home to the clippers..although the bookies seem to have wised up a bit money line is still total points 194.

The analysis hasn't changed the numbers are still the same..no injuries to talk of apart from Griffin who still has a sore knee but he went missing in the 2nd half the other night anyway..Chris Paul is their key.....

So a rinse repeat?

Also although not a great price the race to 20 points market... San Antonio are notorious fast starters and are 13/15 to 20 points..almost free money at 1.4

Eng win the toss and bowl

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/england-v-west-indies/england-v-west-indies-tests/england-v-west-indies-%5B1st-test%5D/west-indies-opening-partnership

22.5 is too skinny for me, I am afraid

Nice conditions for our 3-0 series bet though.

OK, no bimbling or bombling, time for a ESC punt.

I'm not convinced Sweden is right for the Euro weirdos and not surprised the word is that rehearsals aren't going great.

It can be laid at 1.17 to be out of the top ten. France were shorter last year and that crashed.

It pays to be aggressive on ESC markets so...

Top ten market - lay £300 at 1.17, risking £51.

Also, lay £200 @ 3 in the outright market, risking £400. This is for a trade further down the line. Be surprised if it doesn't hit 5+ before the night. Sigh, I miss being able to get in on this action.

If you don't like this one or don't want to tie up four hundo, just go with the top ten lay @ 1.17.

Euro weirdos...

Jeez, are you sure?

Current prices are......

Top Ten (lay) 1.17

Outright (lay) 2.92.

Seriously, how strong are you on this? Seems a huge risk for very small upside to me?

I know you are a TV addict & ESC buff, so I'll get on, but I just need a little nudge first.

I guess if you are right, & we also have the winner (Russia) backed alrerady, we'd be in clover. All seems a bit iffy to me. What happened to Fixed Odds Football Coupons & all that stuff we used to have, back in the day. Was so simple to do my bollox then.

Bring back Littlewoods Football Pools, I say.

Seems to be a bit of confusion here. You're not risking £300, you're risking £51. You're laying at 1.17. Which is effectively the same as backing at 5/1.

Go to the ESC top ten market on Betunfair. That's special bets - general - ESC - top ten, then click lay next to Sweden. Enter 1.17 as your price and type 300 into the amount box. Your liability will be £51. That's all your risking. £51 to win £300.

Unf most of the 1.17 has now disappeared.

The other bet, the outright lay of Sweden at 3, is a trade. Leave that one if you like.

regardless of whether the pitch is flat or not these overhead conditions look ideal for england

i would not want to have day 4 or day 5 tickets

i have played small at under 22.5 runs slightly to high still
