Not sure if Fred has got an interest in the Paddy Power Gold Cup yet..?

I've backed Calgary Bay ew at 28/1.

The horse has always threatened to be top class, but being handled by the hopeless Henrietta Knight was like heaving a two stone penalty every time he ran.

Now she has retired her horses are proving to be well handicapped now in the care of competent trainers and Calgary Bay is with Mick Channon.

Should turn out to be a decent ew race so I suggest £10 each way at 28/1 with Hills

Not sure bout your New York division bet, they were 3-1 two weeks ago, and before the season starts if u expect a team to exceed expectations is obv best time to get involved. Now they are the only team in the league to have won every game and the price has been slashed. They do have a good chance of winning it, but kinda feels like we shoulda been in by now.

As an aside, their division is one of the more competitive, 4 of the 5 teams are potentially playoff bound and the Nets have relocated to Brooklyn this season with a massive investment on court too and will probs be the most improved team this year, and obv Brooklyn v NY games will be kinda a big deal. It will be close between Boston and NY, but guess that's what the prices are saying too.

Have a couple of potential game bets for tomoro, will put them up for feedback. There's a few teams worth opposing at the moment having watched a lot of bball this week, Orlando being one, so I like the NY bet put up the other day, just didn't have time to comment and saw gramps missed it too

Yeah, i didn't have time to get on yesterday and elaborate on the NY division bet. Shame really as last night was a huge night for that division with the nets facing the celtics and NYK travelling to san antonio to face the spurs. The nets managed to beat the celtics and NYK managed to pull a huge win over san antonio with carmelo only going 3-13 from the field. With this the price has dropped to 6/4 for both boston and NYK. Probably is still good value and i will still bet it but we (i) have definitely missed a trick i think. I agree with you also that pounding anyone vs orlando is a good way to go at the minute they look god awful. Im also really enjoying watching the clippers at the minute. They are playing some great stuff and have won some very tough games (but lost some awful ones too)

Form is huge in the nba so i think trying to ride the waves of the inform teams is hugely +ev.

What are your thoughts on the grizzlies? They're another team i have been hugely impressed with so far with victories over miami and OKC. Dont think they really have enough in the tank to compete down the stretch though in this confrence. Knicks vs grizzlies tonight though. Should be a great game with 2 hugely inform teams.

Havent looked at any lines yet for tonight when i will do i will post any i like and see if they match up with your thinking.

Cliffs: 6/4 on knicks to win the division is still good imo but i have definitely missed a trick leaving it this long so its probably not THAT good value anymore.

lines i like tonight :

Mavericks +2.5 @ Pacers. Pacers very out of form with injury problems, 1 win in their last 6, have lost to some very bad teams too. Mavs too strong here imo. Money line is probably good value too.

Knicks +6 @ Memphis. As i said above these two are the two in-form teams in the NBA clashing tonight. Grizz coming off the back of wins @ OKC and vs Miami will be buzzing but the Knicks 6-0 and coming off the back of a huge win in SAS will also be brimming. Knicks did play last night so that's why the line is kinda high but I think 6 points is tooooooo big and I expect this to be a pretty close game and I wouldn't want to pick a winner tbh. Were gona be relying on grizz not making an absurd amount of 3 pointers like they did vs MIA but it's pretty hard to shoot as well as they did that game.

O198 Rockets @ Trail Blazers. Both teams have good offences and pretty poor defences. Blazers are allowing 101 points a game while Rockets 96 on average. Both these teams have very good offences though and I expect this to be very high scoring with alot of open looks to both sides. Another thing to note is both benches are pretty poor (especially blazers) meaning they will just leak very easy points. Niether team is very big either I expect to see alot of pick and rolls from Harden and Batum with a high success rate.

Thoughts on these Jaffacake or anyone? Im on all these, gl if you are too.

edit : I know I said to back anyone thats playing orlando as Jaffacake did, but they are playing the Pistons tonight and I have no idea who is going to win the battle of 2 of the 3 worst teams in the NBA tbh so im staying clear tonight.

MVG is my new sporting hero.

Fred is on at 50-1, is that right?

Oneself is on at 18-1 and 20-1. 6-1 is still a very fair price on tonight's showing. His the best and is starting to believe his the best imo.
Yeah, Bazzaboy stuck it up when he was 80/1 and MvG won a Tournament not long after it, I reminded Tikay of the bet and I think he got on at 50s ew??

That perfectly summarises it.

Seems like half of Team Fred is on MVG, so it matters not that I missed the 100/1 & 80/1 (we have 50/1), the main thing is that we can now look forward to a cracking sweat.

Bazza is a proper legend.

Can any boxing gurus price up the Flintoff fight ?

Can't see anything out there yet, but would think 4/6 or better the yank is a max ?

Good morning Fanny.

It's been said by others, but this looks to me like a gimmick, a publicity stunt, & more than likely it will be arranged for Flintoff to win.

Probably best to steer clear, but thanks.

Their's a couple of juicy prices tomorrow night.
Suggest £30 on Dolan most 180's v Part @21/10 with Paddy, he's as low as 5/4 elsewhere.
£25 Wesley Harms to beat Barney @ 13/5 Betvictor, another one off the Dutch conveyor belt of promising young Players.Harms got to the BDO World and Masters semi's and has played pretty well in this tournament to.He has a better average than Barney.Barney was saying how nervous he was against another young Dutch Player, current BDO World champ Kist in his last match, which he lost.
He will be under even more pressure tomorrow night and the price looks too big.

Thanks snowy.

Can't believe I never got on last night, as promised, but I fell aleep watching the NFL, & this morning, the 21/10 had long gone. Anyway, we have got on at a next best (ignoring SkyBet) 13/8 but reduced the bet slightly due to the missing the price.

There was some resistance to the Harms bet, but it's almost a Banzai, & so we are going to have a little gamble.

Dolan, most 180's v Part, £20 @ 13/8 with Stan James.

Harms to beat Barney, £25 @ 13/5, BoyleSports.

ON

Part v Dolan : Most 180s Dolan, Brendan 13/8
Total stake £20.00
Estimated return £52.50

_________

Market Selection Price
Barneveld v Harms
Match Betting Harms, Wesley 13/5
Total stake £25.00
Estimated return £90.00

Full stake £25.00
Full Estimated return £90.00

I managed to get 33s on Betfair this morning.  My worry is that the horse has never won off this weight before.  I think a lot of Henrietta Knight's horses were very inconsistent and not just running 2 stone under capability.  So I'd assume that his best run may be his limit, but at 33s/28s it is definitely worth a banzai.  Towards the end I was thinking she must be one of the worst trainers to send a horse too, not only did you get this inconsistency of form, but they never ran much either as she didn't want to risk them on the ground.

Anyway, dont want to put people off too much, so will mention I backed a horse the other day for pretty much the same reason yoo put this up and it won by a big margin.

Morning Mr T.

In my investigations into Pujara I found that he once scored 3 triple centuries in one month. Only 1 of them was in first class cricket but even so. My top score in the back garden was only 84, admittedly my elder brother could bowl some heat when he was so inclined, but 3 triples is quite amazing. I just hope his knee holds up for the series.

Morning h.

So you have a cricket pedigree as well as Rugby Union? Proper all-rounder you. Back Garden cricket is the real deal, (preferably armed with a stick of rhubarb) no T20 nonsense there.

ON TMS this morning at about 5am, Sir Geoffrey labelled Pujara "Junior Wall".

The Test Match Report by Lord Tighty (current Cricket Corry, but now retired as Horse Racing Corry after an embarrsassing moment on the TV Show last night) should make interesting reading, & extend to several hundred words.

Dubai will then issue a "Dubai Tourney Report" style set of cliffs.

Won a flip.

Back garden cricket, best game ever. 6 and out if it went over the fence, 3 matchsticks for LBW decisions, 1 hand 1 bounce and we had the horrible Ingrams next door who wouldn't return our balls.

Pujara was also referred to as Dravid junior so he should be dubbed JW or D J. I hope Mr Tightend remembers to avoid the orange colour.

Scott Chandler was thrown to twice. TWICE. TWICE

Through my attempts to avoid sleep I was frustrated

He got 30 yards on his two throws

The bet I should have recommended, Spiller, beat the spread with 91 yards on 22 carries.

Miami really didn't stop him enough for Chandler to get enough looks

Funny game, these bets

Henrietta was a very good trainer in the Best Mate/Edredon Bleu days but she's had other stuff going on the past few years and the horses definitely suffered. Not sure I agree with your take on Mr Channon, though, Camel, the guy has always just fired random bullets at random targets for me.

Quite like Mack's Sister at Wolves tonight but not putting it up as a rec. Filthy sandpit cheaty paradise ftw.
